Jambox / Bluetooth Speakers

I'm interested in getting some Bluetooth speakers for my bedroom, and Jambox seems to be all the hype lately. Does anybody have one of these? I'm interested in getting something that doesn't make some EDM music sound flat. I don't plan on throwing a rave in my bedroom, so max volume isn't too important, but I do want something that isn't all highs/acoustics.

The Jambox is on Amazon for $133 right now, but I see other bluetooth speakers for much cheaper. Does anybody have any experience with any others that they might recommend?

(Yes, I had to sell the Accuphase amp/DVD, I'm a failure, etc.)

The Jambox has a frequency response of 60hz - 20khz

The GOgroove BlueSYNC has 20hz - 20khz, and is only $55. I might go this route if nobody else has any suggestions

great loud clear sound for such a small package. will end up being my bedroom speaker (bom chika bowow)

oh and its only $40 compared to other bluetooth speakers that start at $200 and up...

lol, first thing i played from my phone was henry saiz latest labyrinth, since it was already queued up. when i go to the store to test out speakers i play the first 10-15 seconds of involver2, great range on sound there and really puts the speakers to the limits.

back on topic, yes those speakers have great sound for the type of music we listen to. i havent had much time on them yet though

Jay, do you know if it will pair to multiple devices? I need to be able to pair it with my girlfriend's iPad and my Android tablet.

from what i understand, is that it will pair to multiple devices like android phones tablets as well as iphones and ipads, i just havent done it myself. it was super easy to get it paried with my android phone. i dont think you will have a problem.

Ok, I bought the GOgroove BlueSYNC. Sorry Jay

It was either $50 for the BlueSYNC, or $40 for the HMDX Jam. I ended up buying it because the battery life on it was 16 hours, vs 4 hours on the Jam and because the speaker is nearly double the size... that doesn't mean anything on quality, but I'm telling myself that a bigger speaker will play lower bass

Funny, never heard of this thing and hubby buys it for me for Christmas. Poor guy! I asked for a portable boombox with an iPod doc and plays cd's. I have no music on my iPhone at all. Lol!
I only asked for a boombox because despite the fact that Justin has done audio for bands, in clubs, bars and high end homes and is now an audio sales engineer, I can only listen to sonos at home. Kinda like the cobblers kids have no shoes.
