    Re: Board Games

So if anyone is interested, there is some free software you can download so that you can play these games online, for free.

Vassal is an open-source game engine for building and playing online adaptations of board games and card games.

If you download this you can play a bunch of different games either real-time, or by email meaning each person can do their turn whenever and then submit their move, so you don't have to sit around waiting. I think this would be fun to try if anyone is interested and also can be something to try when there aren't others around to play...plus it would let me learn a couple of new games and not have to sit around waiting for others while I / they research their moves.

i'd be up for this as long as I only have to play a turn once every couple of days.

There are a butt ton of games on that site, I'd be up for testing this out and seeing how it goes. I think it would be slow going for a bit if we pick a game but thats fine. We would both have to read over the rules for whatever we play though I'm sure. I am pretty sure we can get the manuals for whatever we want for free on boardgamegeek.

              which one exactly?

all three are fun to play, whereas munchkin is actually extremely funny
