Lucan, I can't tell if trolling or you're just another superwave, MATE.
p.s. I was there and can 100% confirm this recording is from that night. I can even prove it with, like, evidence and stuff...Comment

He's another Superwave aka Dermo from GU and Bedrock Boards ... a Sasha obsessive (aka 'King Coe') .. that knows his stuff and follows countless fuzzy Youtubes as well as knowing all Sasha's vinyl inside out, despite never putting a mix up or playing out to anyone, so his beat-matching ability has never been tested or marked credible.
Don't think he's seen sasha live for about six years though ... so a keen ear and knowledgeable to a degree, but not really with a live setting.
Think there's valid questions over this set, but people seem to be enjoying the music, which is the main thing.sigpicSimonR

Here's two mediocre videos I took on a whim that night. Undeniable proof of this set being a Sasha one.

Review
If you're ever going to Opera you should check out the Southern restaurant across the street cuz it was pretty damn good. I had fish. Afterwards my club night began, like so many others, in a haze of pretty colors...

Sasha came on looking as wonky and coked up as ever, but was really into the music jumping, clapping, and singing, which greatly improved the experience. Kink - Express and Maxxi Soundsystem really stood out.

As the alcohol flowed, and the beats dropped, the lights and people began to swirl in unison. Dusky - I'm Running unexpectedly slowed the initial energy build up.

About midway he rocked the club with "The Healing (Not The Recent Shite Mix)" dropping one of several Jesus' poses that he must be practicing I imagine. This made my night, although the sound in Opera wasn't the best IMO, not enough mid to high frequencies.

It was around Halloween and these dudes were on point. Verche - Hydra (Luis Junior Remix) was a really cool track and Duke Dumont - The Giver was fun too
crazydoods.JPG
Like a good MercuryServer Sasha-phyte I slithered up to the booth drooling, fawning, and tripping over myself so I could get a photo close to my idol. Can you see the drool? (Getting a pic like this makes me feel so cool. )

Well that's about it really, he closed things out in a predictable way and ran off with me and a bunch of other dudes chasing after him like dogs in heat. All in all a purported "3 hour" set turned out to be 2:15, but, as you all know, it is a love-hate relationship with Sasha so I suppose it was worth a 6-hour Superwave-esque drive to watch the old git do Jesus poses.
Cheers,

So lets gets this right -
1) To be credible you have to host a mix to showcase your skills? Ok, where's yours?
2) Being obsessive means having 6000 records of a particular genre and a user name not from 1998? Ok if thats obsessive what's writing weekly homages and montages and collecting pictures of grown men and chasing them round the planet and pestering for pictures with them, which you then show off with glee? And i guarantee you have every tune Digweed has played in the last decade on your hard drive.
3) To be credible you have to have been out and seen a dj live to have an opinion on how they mix? (Ive infact seen Sasha three times this year and even flew 12500 miles especially to be at the Renaissance 20th which makes you look an even bigger dick than usual)
4) I've forgotten more about music than you will learn in your lifetime. i was going out when you were still drinking Babycham in your white towelling socks and slip on shoes down the Hippodrome.
5) You are a blow hard, try hard, individual who fails on all levels.
Good day to you.Comment

Sounds like you've been doing a fair bit of chasing around the planet yourself Derms.
I don't DJ ... sounds like you've been stuck in your bedroom pretending to be sasha for decades, with no output. Typical bedroom DJ, all the gear and no idea.sigpicSimonR

Re: Sasha @ Liquified Atlanta GA 10/26/12
Id say this is genuine, its hard to "fake " Sasha. His trademark effects are present on a few tracks. and someone said they were there that night, so that certainly would be a confirmation. All in all sounding good so far, nice to hear some new Sasha. That being said, I am looking very forward to his new Involver 3 cd. Think I'll break out Involver 2 today, been a few months since I gave it a proper listen and I really like it."Always........Dancing in My Mind"Comment
