Basis London ft Owen Howells 2nd March at The Waiting Room
Basis: Saturday night at The Waiting Room launches 2nd March 2013
Basis London is taking over The Waiting Room in Stoke Newington on 2nd March and kicks off with guest Owen Howells, co-owner of record label ‘Shades of Grey’ and one to watch for 2013.
Basis has a simple ethos: A dark room, a great sound system and a crowd who want to get down to good music to make it a party.
The Waiting room is just the right intimate venue for Basis’s serious House and Techno basement vibes.
Owen Howells is part of a new breed of talent, and a name that’s been causing tremors in the world of underground house and techno with the London-based DJ, producer and record label boss taking his heady, eclectic twist on the best of contemporary electronic music today everywhere he goes. Once described as ‘genre agnostic ‘by IDJ mag, Basis can't wait to give him the 3hr platform that he deserves.
Support will come from resident and Basis co-promoter Nick Ronin.
Basis starts at 9 pm and run until 4 am, offering £5 guestlist entry and £6 on the door. The Waiting Room, 175 Stoke Newington High Street, London N16 0LH
