Migrashun and Primary are proud to present a double techno header with Deepchild & Luke Hess! Migrashun is moving ahead full force after its sold out event with Max Cooper in late 2012. To kick off 2013 Migrashun is bringing in two heavy hitters and previous Migrashun performers, Deepchild and Luke Hess!
Deepchild is a Berlin-based DJ and producer who has productions and remixes on labels such as Trapez, Resopal Schallware, Anabatic Records, Get Physical, Freerange, Dieb Audio, Thoughtless Music and others. He has performed both as a DJ and live in Vancouver, San Fransico, London, Berlin, Tokyo, Servia and the Czech republic to name a few. His sound ranges from nu-jazz, glitchy deep house, dub tech and beyond. He will be performing a special hybrid set at Primary that is sure to be something to remember. Luke Hess (DeepLabs, FXHE, Planet-e, Echocord), a Detroit standout and dub techno maestro will be performing his world renowned Live PA alongside him!
Also performing will be Migrashun?s founder and executive A&R Mathias Matthew. Mathias has two EP?s coming out in the next few months on Stasis Recordings and ielektronix.
Gavin Marks, a Migrashun resident artist will be moving the floor with his deep and hypnotic sound. With his recent remix on JQM Recordings along with his upcoming releases, he is posed to make waves in the Chicago and International electronic music scene.
As with all Migrashun events, expect top-notch sound and lighting along with artwork provided by rising abstract artists. Primary provides a full Void sound system along with a full LED wall behind the DJ booth which something to behold in its own right.
