A lovely little selection from one of our favourite producers this week, with German producer Moomin stepping up to the decks. Back in his childhood Moomin used to record mixes on an old tape deck; collections of funk, jazz and hip hop sampled from the radio on an old tape deck. It was only around the late noughties when he refined his house sound, and began to gig around his adopted home Berlin. His beautifully soulful and grooved out beats have set the modern house scene alight, released on labels such as Smallville, Laid and Aim, he has been branded as one of the games most promising producers. He took his DJ and live sets from the States to Europe to Japan last year, and when you listen to this, you'll hear why he is so in demand.
