                          01. Balcazar & Sordo - Sacrifice [Supernature | Promo]

Supernature is Audiofly’s record label, set up in 2007, running from Barcelona (Spain) to release music they are passionate about on vinyl and digital forms. Artists include Audiofly, Alex Niggemann, Nick Curly, Livio & Roby, Davide Squillace and recently Santé.

                          Released by: Supernature
Release/catalogue number: FLYING CIRCUS / VA
Release date: 2012

Marco Balcazar & Gabriel Sordo have been friends for many years in their hometown of Guadalajara, Mexico. After many years of DJing and producing solo or in other partnerships, they decided to join their forces. The results have been huge. After just one year working together their unique sound is now being played out by some of the most respected DJ’s including: Maceo Plex Droog, Dj T, Danny Howells, DOP, Luciano, Alex Niggemann, Richy Ahmed, M.A.N.D.Y, Audiofly.

Their have released on labels such as No.19 Music, Hot Waves, Leftroom, Soulfooled, Dirt Crew, Noir and Disko & Akbal Music.

2012 kick started with two tracks on the No.19 Spring Sampler -‐ ‘Obsession’ & ‘Stalker’. These are apt titles as since then the whole dance community has been obsessed with their deep house outputs! In June they featured on Leftrooms Left’d ‘The Psychology of a Steady Road EP’ with Jack Riley and Newbie Nerdz. Their EP opener ‘Steady Road is a disco tinged house groover while their collab with Newbie Nerdz ‘Hey You’ explores a slice of low slung future funk complete with a full bodied bottom end, anthemic synth line and pitch affected vocals samples that narrate a tripped out story.

Earlier this year Maceo Plex said the following about the hotly tipped Mexican duo, “These guys are very close to writing a big hit...I can tell!”

For most that moment arrived some time ago but for the hard to convince it most certainly has now: soon they will release on Jamie Jones and Lee Foss’ esteemed label Hot Waves with a summer smash called ‘Island Eyes.’ A collaboration with Montreal via London female duo Blond:ish and Bastard Love. This track is a perfect rolling Summer burner with warped woozy vocals.

Upcoming projects include a track on the new Flying Circus compilation and a remix for label owners Audiofly. They will also drop an original track on the legendary NYC label – King Street Sounds and continue their relationship with Art Department and Nitins’ No.19.

                          02. Fabio Giannelli - Maintain (M.A.N.D.Y. Remix) [Get Physical Music | GPM209]

Fabio Giannelli made his first EP appearance on Get Physical with 'Let The Spirit Sing', a two track smasher, one of which was the summer mini hit, 'Maintain'. The track flew up the charts and hung on for quite a while, and in that time M.A.N.D.Y. and Just Be have been hard at work creating their own versions.

M.A.N.D.Y. have been bringing more and more to the plate lately, and their studio time with friends like Jimmy Vallance has been paying off. With huge tracks like 'Twisted Sister' and 'Full Off 12', the boys are getting into a very nice groove, one they continue to ride here. They exhibit an inspiring percussion and various sounds as they open a can of bass on the floor. This is the moment when you close your eyes and move your feet. Another strong mix from the boys, and a very strong addition to the release.

Though its base is power percussion, Just Be's remix reflects a lighter side - with pads and relaxed chords taking the centre stage. The vocals come out for an appearance and the remix takes a turn for the deep end, wrapping the track up, and the EP, very nicely and leaving us satisfied after the journey.

                          Released by: Get Physical Music
                          Release/catalogue number: GPM209
                          Release date: Jan 7, 2013

                          03. Echomen feat. Mark Nigrelli - Don't Hold Back [SAW Recordings | Promo]

Echomen return to Satoshi Tomiie's SAW imprint having previously released Perpetual [SAW019] and and Cure [SAW025] in 2003 after Satoshi had picked up their 'Substance' for his 2002 Global Underground: Nubreed 006 compilation.

Echomen is an electronic music production duo of Anton Fielding and Chris Scott, AKA Echomen & Unarmed Forces, which specialises in progressive house. They are also known as Mooncat and Time Design. They have released singles on labels such as Hooj Choons, Forensic Records and Saw Recordings.

                          04. Alexkid - Enty (5 Years Desolat EP) [Desolat | DESOLAT 025]

We celebrate our 5th anniversary with a very special edition of our annual sampler: 2x12" and a CD with 15 tracks mixed by Loco Dice.
Both formats come bundled with free mp3s download code.

Loco Dice’s "Lolopopinho" picks up where his recent "Toxic" EP left off: a groovy energetic whirlwind production that takes the listener on a head spinning journey into the recesses of the label bosses club-orientated mind. Shlomi Aber’s "Mancha" features a sublime bouncing bass-line, whilst Yaya weighs in with a track that nods to a fantastically bright future.

The latest talent to emerge from the highly respected Romanian scene is Horatio. His track "How Much 909 Can You Take?" serves up a warbling aural assault that will easily get feet stomping. Lucero en Vivo’s "La France" first surfaced in 2010 when it caused a stir on Dice’s Amnesia Ibiza Underground 10 mix CD. A welcome addition to the sampler and finally getting the full release it deserves! The young blood of Desolat is rounded of by Alexkid’s ethereal "Enty" which provides some moodiness to proceedings.

And of course the mainstays of the label have also turned in impressive productions. Hector’s "Amorphous Mass" displays the dark depths of the Desolat vaults, whilst the first lady of Desolat tINI turns in a warm intricate release in "Room 305"

                          05. Rikki Sawyer - In A Moment [Release Recordings | R02]

The amazing debut EP from Belfast's Rikki Sawyer.

Release return for their second outing and present a future star. Belfast man, Rikki Sawyer delivers two absolutely massive deep, dark techno gems. 'In A Moment' is a no nonsense, heads down, hypnotic techno groover! Lots of depth and chunkiness meet vocal snippets and dark vibes; when the synthy stabs arrive, a groovier lighter edge with nods to classic NYC sounds. Great work from the Belfast man and caned by Richie Hawtin, Sven Vath, Sasha and Fabric's Terry Francis. Summit is a no nonsense proper techno grinder, laced with clever fx and trippy blips and drops, big bass and mind melting moments. Phat stuff for dark rooms that like to rock. On remix duties, the in form Drumcomplex and Roel Salemink supply a pounding top drawer remix of Summit. Solid and serious with layers that make you want to grit your teeth, whilst retaining elements of the original and certainly not taking any prisoners.

                          06. Makson - Awake (Karl M Remix) [PFL Records | PFL018]

Karl M delivers his typically cool deep solid hypnotic but melodically intertwined techno vibes again here.

Max Cooper : "Really good, it's got something of a huge Bodzin feel about it, very nice."

Daniel Danieli aka Karl M was born in July 1987 in Aachen, Germany. He was first a Drummer in a Post-Rock band with his best friends and he only discovered his love for electronic music rather late. In 2009 he invested in his equipment, made is own little home studio where his passion for melodies grew and with it the melancholy and sadness of them. His first EP, called Fall Up, was released in July 2011 on Trackord Records Berlin. Not exactly minimal, not really techno, Karl M’s productions are quiet a mix of the two. Everything in his tracks (vocals, melodies and beats) is his own original creation. The artist himself describes his music as "melancholic & sad but hopefull". It is essentially great mystifying music touching your heart. A fascinating artist with independent underground music to discover !

                          07. Makson - Awake (Alec Troniq Remix) [PFL Records | PFL018]

Dresden's Alec Troniq saying the following of his style of music:

'No names or labels put on it. It's brimming with music, emotions, not only a collection of beats and noise. It is founded for and by the love of dance and arises out of limitless artistic inspirations. It's oscillating between Tech House, Electronica and Techno, bunched in a stunning live performance. I'm constantly searching for the anomalous, striving to deliver euphoric bliss.'

                          08. Inkfish - Wait In Vain (Erich Lesovsky Remix) [Parquet Recordings | PARQUET053]

After 2 years the swedish Inkfish boys are back on Parquet! "Wait in Vain", already played by Solee during the whole summer, is the perfect after-hour hymn and creates a sweeping atmosphere on the dancefloor! Incl. brilliant remixes by Erich Lesovsky (Stil Vor Talent) and Zusammenklang (Der Turnbeutel)! BIg Release!

                          09. Quivver - The Fog (Kassey Voorn Vintage Interpretation) [FutureForm Music | Promo]

"We are releasing Kassey's remix on our label, which is called FutureForm Music. It will be a remixed EP from Kassey featuring his vintage interp. plus another techno remix." [FutureForm Music]

Brisbane's FutureForm Music exists as a platform for established and upcoming artists to release cutting edge productions, with a focus on hypnotic, dance floor detonating music. An emphasis is placed on meticulously selecting and hand crafting music that delivers an exhilarating and memorable experience to the listener. Quality over quantity is the backbone of FutureForm’s music policy - outputting releases only when the productions are deemed to be of the highest caliber, ensuring longevity of the label.
