aLOLa Events presents returns with the second installment of their clubnight musical odyssey with another killer line-up featuring Portugal’s biggest musical export Dj Vibe returning to London for the first time in years for his only London show this year.
The second all nighter will see Omid 16B take on Portugal’s finest and biggest DJ in another onslaught of technical wizardry behind 6 decks, 3 mixers and one of the most ambitiously and technically innovative DJ stage-shows clubland has seen in years.
aLOLa Events' first night smashed it with a storming set from acid house pioneer and London clubland legend MR C back to back with Alola label owner / founder (and internationally renowned tech house innovator) Omid 16B.
Omid 16B and MR C played a mammoth set alongside Omid’s best friend and SOS partner Demi and Rik Parkinson. Their first night saw the boys collaborate in an epic back-to-back set creating a universal spirit on stage behind a wall of decks enhanced by London’s new breed Silky.
We will also see Demi and Rik Parkinson – both working on their debut material for Alola, representing the new breed once again with variety and charisma, spanning the genres from old school deep house through to today's hottest underground tech house vibes.
This time, the Alola family return to their London residency and will see the night turn into an exclusive Live Mix Album through Alola's in-house studios in Soho, which will be available to advance ticket holders ONLY.
This is going to be a rare opportunity to see some of the finest DJs in the world under one roof for one night only and will see them undertake the unique and epic 4-way back-to-back collaboration once more if you're lucky.
We are delighted to also add to the line-up Kevin Mckay (Glasgow Underground) who has been another key player in Alola's history with Omid 16B.
Kevin has been producing records since the early 90s. His early work as Muzique Tropique found favour with DJs as varied as Andy Weatherall, Dubfire, Roger Sanchez and Danny Tenaglia. Recording with Omid 16B as Sixteen Souls he made "On My Mind" one of the all-time anthems at the
Legendary Sir Henry's in Cork. In the 00s he discovered Mylo and set up the Breastfed label going on to co-produce & mix "Destroy Rock & Roll". As the producer/programmer half of Linus Loves he was responsible for the massive club hits "The Terrace" and "Night Music". Since 2007 he has been running the Heartbeats label (home to Grum) and in 2011 he relaunched Glasgow Underground.
Adding to an all star line up is London based renowned DJ and Producer; Rob Mello who has recorded, produced, and remixed a diverse catalogue of releases since 1992, including more recently on Crosstown Rebels. One of his guises was the pioneering disco and house duo Disco Elements/ Sensory Productions, Previously signed to Azuli Records.
Rob was also co-founder of the saucy house label Luxury Service under his guise House of Whacks and produced the first Black Science Orchestra single with Ashley Beedle, "Where were you", released on the legendary London house label, Boys Own. Since then Rob has been appearing regularly on Classic Records and after 10 years of releases for this label has produced the very last release on this groundbreaking label (Cat nos 000).
Label Owner / Founder Omid 16B said of the night “Beg, Steal or Borrow, but don’t miss this night – there aren’t many DJs in the world with the technical skill to pull this off”
With the limited capacity, this is going to be a roadblock so please be advised to book your tickets in advance for GUARANTEED ENTRY.
