Fri 2.15 Verboten: Fur Coat / Robert James / Richy Ahmed [FREE w/ RSVP]

    Friday February 15th
    Verboten presents
Fur Coat / Robert James / Richy Ahmed / Greenhaven DJs
    SRB Brooklyn

Verboten happily welcomes FUR COAT's Sergio Munoz and Israel Sunshine back to New York for a long overdue appearance. The duo hit it big last year with their debut album and massive single "You & I" on Crosstown Rebels, and have destroyed dance floors at their last two NYC gigs: September's Rebel Rave day party and a sweaty summer "Disasters" at Lorelei [the latter of which was captured for our Verboten Transmissions podcast]. Now we turn 'em loose for an extended nighttime set, where they'll be joined by Hot Creations label mates ROBERT JAMES [another Transmissions vet] and RICHY AHMED, two of our favorites at our Hot Creations yacht party last year. Opening set by GREENHAVEN DJs of Echelon Records.

As a special post-Valentine's day gift to you, we're offering
FREE ADMISSION BEFORE MIDNIGHT w/ RSVP HERE

Also be sure to check out Fur Coat's debut album "Mind Over Matter" out now -

    Beatport / iTunes

Fur Coat explore the power of thought in their first album for Crosstown Rebels 'Mind Over Matter' after a steep climb into mainstream consciousness. The brainchild of Sergio Munoz (Delete) and Israel Sunshine, Fur Coat are about that space where darkness meets the groove. Their combination of live vocals and psychedelic synths create dance floor magic with the debut album featuring hits such as 'You and I', 'Space Ballad' & 'Falls Away'.
