    The Impossible (2012)

    An extremely powerful movie based on a true story of a family that was separated, survived the earthquake / tsunami in Thailand, and eventually re-united in the end. Naomi Watts + Ewan McGregor were really good, especially Naomi. I know it would be rhetorical to say "watch it on a big screen" considering everyone these days has a 55+ incher at home but believe me, you HAVE to watch it on the big screen.

    The visual effects of the Tsunami were downright unbelievable. Even though my buddy and me knew they were CGI generated effects, we were repeatedly left questioning that fact.

    It's every bit worthy of a solid 8/10.

          How the f^#k did the recreate a tsunami?
          I am guessing this is not one to watch if you a general fear of water...

          Got seats booked tomorrow for this, really glad it's getting some amazing reviews.

                      I saw a documentary about this where the parents never found their 2 kids, it nearly brought me to tears. I may see this since it does have a happy ending and has such solid reviews.

                      It was fun while it lasted...

                                  top class man - all the guys in the office watched it - thank fuck SA hardly has any natural disasters like the rest of the world or else I would not live by the coast
