REHAB WAREHOUSE COVENTRY ANNOUNCES FUTURE PLANS
Mike Skinner, Steve Lawler, Oneman, Darius Syrossian all to play soon
REHAB WAREHOUSE is, as the name suggests, a new Warehouse venue nestled in the heart of a City that was previously labeled a Mecca for night life but that has more recently become more of a Ghost Town when it comes to clued up electronic sounds… That place is Coventry and the plan is that REHAB WAREHOUSE will change all that.
The Warehouse is the collaborative vision of City Ambassadors, music industry experts and music enthusiasts who have created a raw shell of a space with basic interior, a worthy sound system and the highest spec equipment including lights and lasers.
The Warehouse launched on the January 26 with a huge launch night labelled "CONTROL" with Shadow Child, Ben Pearce and club residents Ryan Mcnulty & Blaise B. The opening night was a complete sell out, without over 600 city residents turned away on the door. A mixture of Coventrians and out of town clubbers created a euphoric atmosphere at what has since been termed the re-birth of Coventry's legendary nightlife legacy.
There are now plenty of exciting plans on the horizon with many nights lined-up from across a broad spectrum of scenes.
These include a second installment of "CONTROL" with Raff Rundell (2Bears) with head support in the form of London base TOUGH LOVE + Birmingham's Golden girl HANNAH WANTS and exciting new act CAUSE & EFFECT on March 9th.
A huge radio 1 messiah in the form of ZANE LOWE March 23rd for a renown club nightlabeled LET's PUSH THING'S FORWARD (LPTF>>>) Also to come from theLPTF>>> brand is the legendary MIKE SKINNER DJ set (FEB 23rd) withsupport from Birmingham based DJ and owner of Rainbow Warehouse’s famous night 2:31 Mr Tom Shorterz
March 16th sees Mr STEVE LAWLER bring his ViVa Warriors presents… event to the Rehab Warehouse and tickets are flying out which what looks like a seminal month for the club and the city as a whole before an associate of the label Darius Syrossian also plays on April 6th and fabric and Rinse man Oneman plays on April 13th.
