Hey gals and lads,
just in case anyone wants to know...
1. John Digweed - Choice
Too much vocals in most of the songs for my liking,
the mixing could do better, sometimes songs are not
*really* mixed, sounds dated.
2. Danny Howells - GU27
Gets better with every listen, House-music with that
special *kick* in it. Good one.
3. Chris Salt - Fear3
Melocic progressive. Didn?t really feel this at first listening.
Will give it another try when I?m in the *right mood*
4. Phil K - Y4K
Really weird 4/4-breaks and some progressive stuff.
The connection to Habershamis feelable.
But gets a little bit boring towards the end,
with some Drum&Bass/Jungle-thinggy..
Must try it again after a or
5. Alex Smoke - Incommunicado
Cool minimal stuff. Unfortunately unmixed.
The songs would fit well into each other if they were mixed though.
Personally I don?t like it when a song-closing takes 60 seconds.. it
destroys the mood, imo.
Looking forward to hearing the new Balance - Chris Fortier,
which is already on it?s way from Australia
Any addidional recommendations?
Cheers,
G.
