Basis is back on Saturday nights at the latest and greatest basement in town, The Waiting Room.
Heading up this comeback is Owen Howells - future hero and co-owner of the forward-thinking imprint Shades. As part of a new breed of talent, Owen is a name that’s been causing tremors in the world of underground house and techno with the London-based DJ, producer and record label boss taking his heady, eclectic twist on the best of contemporary electronic music today everywhere he goes. Once described as ‘genre agnostic ‘by i-DJ mag, we can't wait to give him the 3hr platform that he deserves.
Support, as ever, comes from resident, Nick Ronin.
The ethos is simple: A dark room, a great sound system and enough people who want to get down to good music to make it a party. Serious basement vibes.
