i remember thinking this about James Holden back in his balance005 days but fell off the train hard. I do think I would like to see Henry take over Bedrock whenever JD wants to retire.

^^ With a mix this long there is definitely going to be something you, or I , don't like , I think I am lucky that I do like most of what Henry does even back to Tangerine Dream And we are all bloody lucky that we have this amazing music given to us in best mp3 quality. I'm am very happy today.

BTW Much as I hate to say this James holden is a mere spark compared to Henry's super nova. Seriously Henry now has years of amazing work behind him, he has earnt the legend status.

there was a head scratcher or two. I think there was an Usher song in there, and not a remix, but the radio version. seemed out of place. i think it makes this more of an annual collection mix, which is what the title implies but was hoping for more of a mix that just happen to incorporate the best tracks of 2012 from his personal collection. (im not sure what i would think if i heard him play that usher song live)

as for the holden comparison, i whole heartedly agree.



i love the mix, with it being 4 hours long, it will have a high replay value for the foreseeable future.

Thats exactly what i thought.. And there are a couple of "similar" stuff which i donīt personally like.. That being said, this is a solid 4 hours comp imo

I think maybe 4 hours is a bit long , it's always hard to please everyone and this length just makes it harder. But it's what he thought was the best of 2012 . I like that we get an insight into the artist here. There is some truly amazing music !!

what james holden did will not be forgotten....the guy brought us music that will remain for a looong time even if nothing new comes from him...

i love henry's productions but i still dont have any mixes from him that are as precious as holden's balance or M8 and even some of the live sets...

they shudnt be compared at all, each has his own print
