Most of the Americans I've seen in this thread have it pretty damn easy...I don't want to hear any complaints about $1.85/gallon.
Reno, Nevada
$2.24 Regular (87 Octane)
$2.34 Plus (89 Octane)
$2.44 Premium (91 Octane)
And for those of you in the UK, I don't think you have a reason to complain seeing as though to go anywhere in London is less than 20 miles. And your little cars get 40mpg. Blame Tony Blair and his inability to negotiate lower petroleum prices. Not to mention the fact that you have an incredibly efficent mass-transit system. U.S.= large land area, U.K. = tiny land area. You do the math.I ain't no damn noobie. Bitch.Comment

still adds up if you drive enough either way...
if the US ever had to pay 5, 6, 7/gallon, prices and commerce as we know it now would practically be turned on its head...FM

Here in Calgary Canada, it's about 80 cents to the liter.
Lets see with my handy Canadian to US dollars/liter to gallon calculator:
it's about $2.25.
Where are the days when gas was about $1.10 per gallon when I was living in Houston five years ago.Comment

You can't have manslaughter without laughter.
"Son," he said without preamble, "never trust a man who doesn't drink because he's probably a self-righteous sort, a man who thinks he knows right from wrong all the time. Some of them are good men, but in the name of goodness, they cause most of the suffering in the world. They're the judges, the meddlers. And, son, never trust a man who drinks but refuses to get drunk. They're usually afraid of something deep down inside, either that they're a coward or a fool or mean and violent. You can't trust a man who's afraid of himself. But sometimes, son, you can trust a man who occasionally kneels before a toilet. The chances are that he is learning something about humility and his natural human foolishness, about how to survive himself. It's damned hard for a man to take himself too seriously when he's heaving his guts into a dirty toilet bowl."Comment
