It's hardly a commercial enterprise ... the release is always an absolute bargain !

This release was mastered direct from vinyl at the request of the DJ and as such features natural sound characteristics of this medium such as record surface noise.

Vagabond seems like a logical choice. He did have to change the mixer halfway through which might complicate matters.

I'm really hoping Live in London 2, but doubt that will be the case.

                ^^was vagabond that good?
didn't seem like it on the bootleg, but hopefully that is just the quality. def could never see a 4 cd out of that one though, maybe two disks max.

I wasn't feeling the first hour of Transitions 450, was a bit too housey for me. Lets hope this is not from that leg of the tour....

I think that is the tricky part with this "live in" concept, he kind of needs to pick something that is (or has an hour or two worth of) a bit "headphones/home-car stereo friendly".. the Vagabond set worked very well in the club, but I don't think it will work for headphones or whatever like London did.

That's why I was so surprised how good London was, and I was asking if he knew he will release it as an album beforehand...

...maybe he can still pull 2-3 hours out of the Vagabond set and it will be fine, but it will very hard to do it in a 4cd format

hard to guess, almost need a list of the last half years high profile gigs.

digs got a tough task ahead to put something out there that at least equals London

                          Re: John Digweed live in?

There was the NYC gig ... Liverpool was meant to be extended but ended early.

Easter Bedrock was pretty darned good, but unless there's a Live In London #2 ... I think John will mix up the continents.

Msg from him today was "its a corker" ... in terms of quality etc. he has to be happy with the gig and it has to sound great to him when listening back.

Grabbing a decent slab of his record box every 6-mths is a winner anyway ... and all for the cost of a few weak bland Starbucks latte's !
