Evidently old school fans of these guys are freaking out over how the album was officially released... Apparently and I didn't fucking understand a word this fan I was talking to was saying, but basically there were like various codes, and a banner on a website that had another code and all 6 codes made a hexagon or something, and there were 2 tracks released that sounded like static unless you played them simultaneously and then you could hear another clue or a hidden track or something... Surely someone knows wtf I'm trying to say .

It was fun while it lasted...

Yeah something like that. It began with some cryptic video. Whatever. NIN did something similar for Year Zero. At least the album lived up to the marketing and hype, unlike other recent releases.

I got pics and video. But I will upload them in the morning. I need to smoke this nice phat joint and just close my eyes and replay the amazingness in my head.

          Re: Boards of Canada Return!

Long in the making, Boards of Canada's fourth full-length is their darkest and moodiest record. Clearly inspired by film soundtracks, Tomorrow's Harvest is heavy on atmosphere and richly textured drone.

8.3 from Pitchfork and Best New Music.
