I guess so.... but same could be said for Techno... since "deep house" is newer than "techno" perhaps it's still being defined? Notice I said "NEWER" not "NEW." Before anybody wants to tell me it's 100 years old .

no truthfully -places like fagport oops i meant beatport truly have fucked everything up, now guetta tunes are classed as progressive house etc... so now people who are getting into the scene have absolutely no idea what they are listening too

Sven Weissman, Jimpster, Shur-I-kan, matt masters are my go to guys at the moment.

Pablo Bolivar made some gems a few years ago, deep house but more prog roots (dark synth sounds) than the disco or funk sampled sound...if that makes sense.
