Crashing into the Toolroom Records catalogue with their latest release, Phunk Investigation present ‘Let The Bass Kick’; an uncompromising, high-octane tech tune set to destroy dancefloors everywhere.
Having showcased their unique sound on previous Toolroom Records releases such as ‘Toolroom Knights Mixed By UMEK’, Phunk Investigation return for an all out assault on the label. ‘Let The Bass Kick’ takes a favourite sample in a completely new direction, interspersing it with reverb-laden vocals and interjected by those trademark sharp synths, all layered over a growling bass to create a truly fat sound. Taken together, all these elements transport you to the centre of a rammed dancefloor, surrounded by dark tunes and dancing tech-fans. This is a track to energise that 4am crowd who know that techno is the only way to go.
