Thomas Green – aka ROCKWELL - has without question been one of the most exhilarating talents to come out of the drum and bass scene in recent times. He signed exclusively to Friction’s Shogun Audio imprint.
2012 has seen ROCKWELL start the build-up to his debut album, due 2013. Tune of the year so far ‘Childhood Memories’ has hinted a future away from the constraints of 170bpm and has received support from across the bass music spectrum including Annie Mac, Mistajam, Chase & Status and Zane Lowe, who selected it as his ‘Next Hype’ track on BBC Radio 1. Scroll back to earlier in 2012 and Rockwell dropped bone fide dancefloor destroyers ‘Tripwire’ and ‘Constantcomplexrhythmicsound’ to great critical acclaim and DJ support, and recent remixes for Jubei and Netsky have demonstrated his credentials outside of the constraints of d&b once again.
