hmm not sure. i did see that Sasha is coming to orlando in the next few weeks to play Firestone, and i haven't seen him play in that town in quite a while. maybe o-town is having a bit of a resurgence.

Checked the Firestone site. It looks like that show is only going until 2:30am, unfortunately.
bought tix! not sure if 2:30 is late enough to warrant a hotel but might just make a weekend of it. so nice to have a proper dj play on a sat night. im too used to djs coming to tampa on wed or thursdays.
I'm in Tampa and have to miss Sasha because i'm DJing at The Castle. Not sure whats up with Tenaglia but his post doesn't have to refer to something public. Some kind of after hours underground thing would be amazing.
So, who's going? I see it's also Firestone's 20th anniversary party. Buying tickets & booking hotel today. I'm definitely not risking a D.U.I. cruising back up I-4 after the show.

Plus, from Orlando to Daytona, I-4 averages 1 death per day. My friend was an EMT for 9 yrs, which is who told me that. Stay safe . I live a few minutes away, but my clubbing days are just about over tbh...
Sorry it took so long for the review. To put it short & sweet...Amazing! Great crowd that was totally up for it. The music was insane! I recognized all of one track. The rest seeemed all new (to me anyway). Whoever opened for Sasha did a bang up job too. The music was good in the Den also. All in all, I'd give it at least a 8 out of 10. The 8 score only reflects that I wish Firestone would have stayed open longer for a extended Sasha set.

It was a good night, especially the first hour of his set.
I wouldn't say there was a ton of new music, necessarily.
He opened with Turn The Tide.
Other spots I can remember:
James Teej - Liking Your Disorder (Timo Maas Remix)
Jozef K, Winter Sun - The Straw that Broke the Camels Back
Hot Chip - Flutes (Sasha Remix)
