Last spot in UK Final up for Grabs at Village Underground
Corona has today announced that the last place in the UK Final of its International DJ contest Movida Corona will be up for grabs at East London’s Village Underground on Saturday July 27th. Eight of London and the South East’s most talented, up and coming dance DJs will that night take to the decks and compete to take a giant step towards catapulting their career onto the international stage at Pacha’s closing party in Ibiza this summer.
Following regional heats at clubs across the country the last spot in the national final will be won at Village Underground as part of #coronalondon on July 27th - a day when Corona Extra will also be converting London’s Covent Garden into a Beach Volleyball venue. The yet to be announced UK Final will see the top DJs battle it out for the chance to represent their country in the global ‘Grand Finale’ at Pacha.
As well as a DJ battle in the venue designed extravagantly especially designed for the evening by Secret Party Project, one clubber on the night will win a Corona Extra ‘Beach Break’ trip to Mexico.
Andy Milford, UK Marketing and Promotions Coordinator for Corona Extra and former Movida Corona winner said: “Movida Corona has been showcasing and launching UK DJs into the spotlight for over a decade and is proud to be able introduce fresh home-grown talent to an incredible international platform. Clubbers on the night might hear a set from the next Super-star DJ for the first time at Village Underground and will be in with a chance of winning a trip to Mexico.”
The UK winner will receive a range of prizes including Corona Extra beer, flights to and accommodation in Ibiza to compete in the International Grand Finale in Ibiza.
