Toolroom TV episode 8 is brought to you from the international clubbing capital that is Ibiza where we check out the opening parties at Ushuaia, Space and Pacha as well as the International Music Summit. We take a tour of the South Coast with Hot Since 82, drop in to the Gran Hotel and Dalt Villa where we talk to DJ Driis, aka Idris Elba, and the legendary Nile Rodgers, before calling in at Ushuaia to chat with partner and creative director Yann Pissenem and one of Cadenza’s leading artists, Reboot. Following that, we head across the road to Space for a catch-up with Mark Knight and Nic Fanciulli. Finally, we call in to biza’s longest standing club, Pacha, where we speak with Chuckie, Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike.

We hit the ground running in this episode, starting off with a whistle stop tour of the Southern side of Ibiza with Hot Since 82 who gives us a run-down of his favourite locations. We then head over to IMS where the Ibiza season really kicks off with industry professionals taking time out to discuss business. At the conference we catch up with DJ Driis to hear his take on IMS, the island and the industry, and Nile Rodgers, who tells us about the great personal and business relationships he’s cultivated there. At Ushuaia, Yann Pissenem outlines his own concept for clubbing in Ibiza and the big production values and even bigger stars scheduled for his club nights. Also at Ushuaia, Reboot talks about his interesting new concept for his pool parties as well as his upcoming releases to celebrate Cadenza’s tenth birthday. Next we catch up with Mark Knight on Talamanca beach as he tells us about his first and most memorable experiences in Ibiza and playing the infamous Space opening. Over at Space’s opening fiesta we catch up with Nic Fanciulli to discuss the changing club scene in Ibiza.
