Continuing our Balearic theme we decided to bring the sound of Ibiza to our listeners no matter where they are in the world this week so we can all kick back and enjoy the beats that illustrate the culture of the White Isle during the summer. Born in Barcelona (Spain) and raised in Sitges, a small town near Barcelona were night life was very popular in the 80's and 90's it was there Mar-T first realised his passion for electronic music, especially in L'Atlantida Club. A DJ and producer since 1995, his reputation as a sound connoisseur and tastemaker has been forged on the dance floors across the globe, with him shooting to prominence in Ibiza after successful residencies in Amnesia. With that experience behind him and a knack to adapt to any dance floor and get it pulsating without making any concessions made him an ideal candidate to share the spirit of Ibiza and deliver this weeks guest mix.. This set exposes his hedonist and sensual spirit, and shows how Mar-T goes about how create an atmosphere full of good vibrations via to his trademark eclecticism that takes him to mix all aspects of electronic music with great results.
