    Sharing a 3.5 gig file

I have a movie I made of a family reunion. Should I a) burn it to disk and mail it to everyone. or b) try to upload it?

If the best answer is "a" which I assume it probably is. Does my aluminum body macbrook pro from 2009 have a dvd burner? I'm almost sure it does.

    thx

It was fun while it lasted...

Me, I try to keep everything digital. The physical will only take up space and I'll lose it anyway.

Really depends on how good with technology your family is. I find Google Drive faster than Dropbox and has more space (even for uploading).

Plus how do you expect the movie to be watched? Obviously if it's going into a DVD player you'd want to burn it on to a DVD, make sure it plays, and mail it out. (I think how it will be watched will tell you what you need to do. A digital copy is no use if it's going into a DVD player unless it has a USB slot).

Also, DVDs are not infallible, they won't last forever, and you'll need to put them in cases before mailing out.

I got pics and video. But I will upload them in the morning. I need to smoke this nice phat joint and just close my eyes and replay the amazingness in my head.

Upload it to youtube, set it as a private link and email the link to everyone.

I won't be back until next Tuesday, so if Get Carter is the correct answer, I would appreciate of someone else posts a new cap for me

Yea YouTube handles pretty large files. Their main concern is copyrights so as long as the file is legit you should be good to go. I've watched 2 hour documentaries on YouTube that we're pleaded in 720p iirc.
