He will probably be peeved at its release and the quality of recording. Standards etc.

wetting myself for some kind of high quality release of this. if john released this as a 4 cd set right now i'd happily pay $50 or $60 USD for it. dig this way more than his london cd release by comparison. first track with the jesus & mary chain type vocals is amazing opener (vox remind me of "just like honey" from lost in translation soundtrack). some real growlers in the first hour or so.
