Montreal's Turbo label has undergone quite the transformation in the past year or so. Headed up by Tiga, the imprint was once known for its goofy nature, not to mention its love for various strains of electro and party-starting house. These days, however, it's increasingly viewed as an outpost for raw, rough-and-tumble techno. And if last year's New Jack Techno compilation was a sort of mission statement, then Canadian duo Gingy & Bordello just might be the poster boys for Turbo's new direction. This week sees the pair releasing Saturday Night Fervor, a new EP and the second installment of the label's three-part Warehouse Series, so we figured now would be a good time to see what Gingy & Bordello could do if given the chance to put together an XLR8R podcast.
