In a year that has producer an absolute glut of quality albums and left us utterly spoilt for choice in regards to full studio efforts from some of our favorite producers one LP that took us completely by surprise was Speicher staple Kolsch was his amazing album ‘1977’ on Cologne based powerhouse Kompakt. The album introduced us to a plethora of sunshine laden tracks perfect for those warm nights and became our unofficial soundtrack to summer 2013. Thus it was with great excitement that we managed to secure Kolsch as one of electronic music’s hottest properties to deliver one of his trademarkedly eclectic sets for our exclusive podcast. From melodic key enthused efforts to epically themed cinematic numbers Kolsch seamlessly does it all, with the theme of his mix being that all of these different sounds find themselves amalgamated into one expertly crafted groove, for a set as ready for the dancefloor as it is poolside.
