Re: Overrated DJ's
DEEP and DISH
(if they were mentioned already...sorry...i haven't read the thread in its entirety)
deep dish is highly overrated. i can't believe people would pay 30 bucks or more to see one of the two. then again, you may luck out and get to hear both of them. i can hear my local dj's who play prog play the same type of music for 5 dollars...they'd probably play better too.
anyone remember let's get ill??
seriously, no thanks.
but i do miss the old deep dish. just as much as i miss the old bt.Comment

Re: Overrated DJ's
Gab & D have certainly never surpassed their 1st EM in 2004 which was fantastic - Deep Dish have descending down a cheesy commercial slope ... Burridge still sends me to sleep, and poor old Sander k is a shadow of his former glorious self (oh how I pine for a return to the Sander that produced those timeless 2001 and 2003 EM's).sigpicSimonR
This release was mastered direct from vinyl at the request of the DJ and as such features natural sound characteristics of this medium such as record surface noise.Comment

^ along a similar vein I would add Paolo Mojo, he may not be overrated but uh what are your thoughts on PM?
It was fun while it lasted...Comment
