    01. Tom Middleton - Wyv Auw Chu (Ambient Mix) [Anjunadeep | ANJDEE174D]
    02. Tom Middleton - Wyv Auw Chu (Original Mix) [Anjunadeep | ANJDEE174D]

Having graced Anjunadeep in the past with remixes of Michael Cassette and Paronator, we're delighted to welcome the first full release from a true pioneer - and now friend - in Tom Middleton. One half of the revered Global Communication outfit with Mark Pritchard, and a iconic veteran of the electronic music scene in his own right, Tom has released a wealth of forward-thinking, emotive tracks under a number of aliases over the years, as well as mixing iconic compilations such as "The Sound Of The Cosmos", "Renaissance 3D" and "Fabric 26".

"WYV AUW CHU" / "GODA CEE YUU" sees Tom bring his classic Liquatech mix of deep immersive bass and lush melodies into 2013 with style. An instant fan-favourite from James Grant's "Anjunadeep 05" mix, "WYV AUW CHU" melds intricate, unwinding melodies with deep low-end bass frequencies and a mesmeric vocal refrain. The result is a brilliantly rich fusion of old school progressive influences and contemporary deep house, showcasing Tom's talent for creating anthemic electronic music.

Following it up is the deeper, dubbier "GODA CEE YUU". A sophisticated house groover with another seductive vocal theme, "GODA CEE YUU" is carried along by an infectious baseline and progresses through an uplifting, spacey breakdown and some classic Middleton atmospherics. It features in both original and dub form.

Completing the EP in style are the ambient and beatless versions of "WYV AUW CHU", which slow down the original's unravelling melodics into a muted, but mesmerising euphoria. Both multi-textured and epic, these mixes hark back to Global Communcation's 1994 ambient masterpiece, the genre-defining "76:14".

    03. Dave DK - Home Again feat. Heiko Voss (Palmaille EP) [Kompakt | KOM 277]

Berlin's best-known secret and a sucker for melodies, DAVE DK is certainly no stranger to the motions of the club crowd: having long been associated with Sasse's Moodmusic imprint, he is responsible for an impressive crop of much-acclaimed dance releases ranging from the tender to the ardent. Now, the seasoned producer presents the PALMAILLE EP on KOMPAKT, a delightful amalgam of swathing synths and heart-warming beats. Starting off with title track PALMAILLE, DAVE DK wastes no time and cuts directly to the action, in this case a welcomingly grooving exhibit flush with epic strings and dabs of mouth-watering melancholy. A perfect cut for moments of all intensities, it revolves around a delectably simple motive owing as much to the wonky sampledelics of early KOMPAKT techno ballads as it does to the more recent antics of deep house.

PALMAILLE is worthily followed by NAKAI POP AMBIENT VERSION, a finely tuned dash of beatless bliss that offers countless access points for merry immersion. Slowly gliding along on a wholesome bassline, jets of shiny sound paint a fragile, yet uplifting picture, not unlike falling stars in the nocturnal sky. A comprehensive piece of music, it also serves as a beautiful introduction to HOME AGAIN, the third and closing track of the PALMAILLE EP. For HOME AGAIN, DAVE DK secured the vocal help of HEIKO VOSS, co-founder of Cologne's legendary Firm Records and one half of KOMPAKT veterans Schaeben & Voss. The result is a timeless house gem brimming with warm pads and gracefully fashioned percussion, proving once again that electronic music is a matter of both precision and emotion - a tough juggling act for any club release. Which is why it's such a pleasure to see it as fully realised as here.

    04. Vincenzo & Aram - Let Go (Original Mix) [Anjunadeep | ANJDEE173D]

Having given us the brilliant "Get To Know You" back at the tail-end of 2011, the uber-talented Vincenzo makes a welcome return to Anjunadeep for the double a-side outing of "Junebug" (feat. Minako) and "Let Go" (feat. Aram).

Originally starting life as an intoxicating instrumental, "Junebug" is a smooth-as-velvet deep house number that was given an extra lease of life thanks to the heavenly, hypnotic vocals of Tokyo's Minako. Slow-burning, seductive and laced with Vincenzo's trademark musicality, "Junebug" is also included here in its original instrumental form.

A highlight from the recent "Anjunadeep 05" compilation, second track "Let Go" sees Vincenzo team up with old friend and production partner Aram for a shimmering, eerily beautiful deep houser that was what we can all 'an instant win'.

    05. Elekfantz - Diggin' On You (Gui Boratto D.O.C. Mix) [D.O.C. | D.O.C. 001]

Last summer, a stunning single called - Wish' (FM X / Wish 001) made quite a splash in the international techno community. It was released on a limited edition picture vinyl only and delighted listeners worldwide with its intimate melodies, lush harmonies and organic undertones. Composed in memory of Muddy Waters, the bluesman that electrified the Delta blues, it came from the hands of ELEKFANTZ, a project completely unknown to most floor hounds: speculations about the originators ran rampant and the name Gui Boratto was brought forward more than once.

Now, the curtain is lifted with DIGGIN' ON YOU on the new Kompakt-distributed label outfit D.O.C., revealing two incredibly gifted musicians: Daniel and Leo first met 20 years ago, when they played together in a blues band. Leo continued his carreer as a professional musician while Daniel started to discover a new musical path. The latter was born and bred at the electronic music temple in South America, later becoming a resident DJ and local hero, known as the right guy to prepare the dance floor and set up the right mood. He's one of the finest DJs of the Brazilian new wave of electronic aficionados. Leo is a professional drummer, singer and composer since the age of 15. He played and recorded with some of the greatest artists in Brazil.

After two decades, they met up again and created - Wish'... and it was indeed Gui Boratto who heard it first, deciding that not only this was music he'd love to see released, but also a talented duo he absolutely wanted to work with, becoming their manager and collaborator in the process. Thus, a new label was born: D.O.C., Gui's very own label imprint. Sure enough, ELEKFANTZ were the first artists to be signed. "They just sound different and beautiful', Gui says, - real musicians'. The rest, as they say, is history.

    06. Ilias Katelanos - After A While (Just Now EP) [200 Records ‎| 200 024]

Out Sept 2 from 200 Records ..with great remixes from Nhar ,and G Theofanidis.

200 Records was founded as a Techno label for vinyl and digital releases by Kai Sasse and Dirk Middeldorf in Cologne, Germany at the beginning of 2009. 200 Records releases music for the club and defines itself as an open-minded label striving to provide a platform for both established and new artists. They are putting an emphasis on connecting with their artists musically and personally. The motivation behind starting this label is Kai’s and Dirk’s love for electronic music; the will to contribute a piece to its development – to give back – and last but not least, due to their close friendship, the desire to create something new together.

    07. Andrade - Rush Minute (Cloud Up EP) [2020Vision | VIS242D]

Andrade, drops the ‘Clouds Up’ EP on 2020Vision this August, featuring three original tracks from the French producer.

Andrade Olivier aka Andrade, has racked up a reputable back catalogue since releasing his debut single on Time Has Changed Records in 2009. This release led to further singles for some of the leading imprints in the industry, namely, Dessous, Poker Flat, Bass Culture and Hudd Traxx, here Andrade ticks another label off the list, joining the 2020Vision roster, and following the footsteps of Ejeca, Maya Jane Coles and Huxley.

Andrade kicks things off with a bang, opening with ‘Dark Message’, a hypnotic, ever-evolving house track, featuring insistent synth melodies, weighty drums and a warm, organic feel. Things slowly bloom and retract in this state as the track progresses, while atmospheric electronic leads and subtle background touches drive the impact of the breakdowns. Title track ‘Clouds Up’ follows, taking on a Chicago House feel this time, with looped wah-wah guitar licks, classic house strings and bumpy, shuffled drums running throughout, while jazzy double bass hooks add a further natural musicality to the record.

Closing the release is ‘Rush Minute’, a perfect choice to wind things down, as Andrade delves a little deeper, opting this time for a dropped-tempo feel with straight 4/4 drums and an arp style synth line shifting in key throughout. Soft reverberated pads, processed vocals and bell chime like melodies are also thrown into the mix adding a profound, hidden depth to the track.

Andrade’s ‘Clouds Up’ is out on 2020Vision 5th August 2013.

    08. Blond:ish - No Place Like Gnome (Inward Visions EP) [Kompakt | KOM 268]

After unleashing one of last year's most beloved releases on KOMPAKT with the "Lovers In Limbo EP", London-based, Montreal proud Anstascia and Vivie-Ann aka BLOND:ISH didn't take long to establish themselves as the act to look out for in 2013. In a rare congruence, this particular duo infernale feeds on both style and substance, proven once again by INWARD VISIONS, a dark and twisted dance floor tale full of uncanny visitations and unexpected outcomes.

To call it epic would be stating the obvious: NO PLACE LIKE GNOME is a banger of massive proportions and a powerful introduction to BLOND:ISH's latest slice of club psychedelics. Rigged to explode any moment, this track confidently prances on the brink of utter mayhem, summoning the great desert leviathan with foreboding synths and sandblasted drums straight out of an obscure Australian exploitation flick. Fringe pop at its very best, it's bound to serve as money shot in DJ crates worldwide, bringing you those sweet, sweet goose bumps you're craving for... we know you do.

Speaking of goose bumps, we turn our attention to the flipside where title track INWARD VISIONS holds court. Supplemented with ghostly incantations from vocalist BEYOU, it replaces the nocturnal siege courtesy of NO PLACE LIKE GNOME by the eerie twilight of a battle's aftermath, reeling through shimmering heat and dust-swollen mirages. A wanderer in an apocalyptic landscape, BLOND:ISH's narrator is far from a defeatist point of view: there remains a glimmer of humanity, a drop of precious water seething underneath the track's sun drenched surface.

Klangkarussell featuring Will Heard’s ‘Sonnentanz (The Sun Don’t Shine)’ is the deep house anthem that’s bears all the hallmarks of becoming one of this summer’s biggest dance hits.

Originally an instrumental that first bubbled away on the underground late last year before becoming a No.1 singles chart and radio airplay hit across Europe, ‘Sonnentanz’ is the work of Austrian house duo, Klangkarussell aka Tobias Rieser and Adrian Held. To date, the instrumental has amassed over 25 million views on YouTube.

Early radio plays of the original come courtesy of Radio 1 stalwarts Zane Lowe, Rob da Bank, Danny Howard and beyond, with DJ support from Pete Tong, Jamie Jones, Avicii, Sven Vath, Luciano, Maya Jane Coles, Claude Von Stroke, Tiesto and many more.

‘Sonnentanz’ now features a killer vocal from 21 year old British rising star, Will Heard, the hotly tipped singer/musician gaining recognition for his blend of jazz, folk and soul. Having taken time out to travel through Cuba, Argentina and Brazil, Will returned to the UK last year and signed a publishing deal with Trevor Horn’s Perfect Song. He’s recently been in the studio writing and recording new material with the likes of Billy Mann (P!nk John Legend), Justin Parker (Lana Del Rey, Rihanna, Ellie Goulding), Baby Daddy (Scissor Sisters, Kylie Minogue), and Future Cut (Lily Allen, Rizzle Kicks). The vocal version was premiered last night on Zane Lowe’s Radio 1 show and will be released on the 4th August via Island Records.

Remixes come from Jakwob, Ben Pearces and more.

**Note** original released on Stil Vor Talent [SVT088] in July 2012 and featured on Transitions 450 (Tommy Beach Club - Punta Del Este) "Finally seeing a proper release on Stil vor Talent, Sonnentanz is the youtube sensation by Austrian newcomers Klangkarussell. The original version gets the remix treatment by Oliver Koletzki, Kellerkind and Phonique"

This release was mastered direct from vinyl at the request of the DJ and as such features natural sound characteristics of this medium such as record surface noise.
