The ANJUNADEEP compilation series has been the benchmark for some of the most stunning melodic house and progressive tracks heard over the past few years. Of recent times the label has seen a shift to a sexier unique deep house sound that is fronted by no other than former Way Out West artist JODY WISTERNOFF. Jody mixes the peak time CD2 in the new album and is packed with an abundance of his own productions and newly found artists cool enough to be played on the dance floor or at home chilling after the club. So it is a perfect opportunity to kick off our 'Progressive Revolution' by officially hosting an Anjunadeep:05 Album launch themed event headlined by Jody Wisternoff.
Our on-going policy and excellent ability to pick out local up-and-coming talent, it’s no surprise that we have brought in the Mancunian UNIVERSAL SOLUTION and Leeds lad, KAHWE. We have been very keen fans of SEB DHAJJE over the years so it is with pleasure to announce the Frenchman as our “Special Guest” for this event.
The Mint Club in Leeds goes hand in hand with an event of this magnitude. Its without doubt one of the best clubs in Europe in terms of atmosphere, a unique LED ceiling lighting system and a track record of hosting global brands such as Renaissance, Systems and Cocoon.

We have been a long admirer of Jody’s work whether it is his Way Out West stuff through to his recent debut solo album on Anjunabeats last year so we are very honoured to have him on board. It made perfect sense to have JW as the headliner after his recent epic guest mix for our Progressive Intelligence 050 celebration podcast was so popular. His recent alternative take of the Above & Beyond track “Alchemy” feature on the A’Deep:05 album sums up his recent melodic deep house sound that will be played for many years to come. Taking all this into account…we can all look forward to a memorable set from Jody
UNIVERSAL SOLUTION (LIVE)
Universal Solution is the brainchild of Manchester based producer Gavin Holland. His music is soothingly atmospheric with great driving elements and we’re proud to have him on board as he has not one but two brand new tracks on the Anjunadeep 05 Album - ‘Yukon’ and ‘Osheen’.
2011 saw the release of his debut album ‘Nurture’ released on Kindred Recordings and features a real education in electronic music. It’s a musical journey exploring genres such as chill out, progressive and house. We can’t wait to hear his unique LIVE set covering all his own productions that will surely catch the imagination of an awe inspired audience.
KAHWE
The massively talented Joe Cowie aka Kahwe has caused a lot of chatter on the social network and forums after his excellent emotive house driven track, “Driving Me Wild” on Anjunadeep earlier this year. He is one of the main driving forces behind the fashionably artistic “Transmission Collective” brand and at the young age of 20 there is plenty more to come from the local Leeds lad!
SEB DHAJJE (SPECIAL GUEST)
Seb is by no means a stranger to the deep house and progressive scene with his melodic synths and driving basslines that have caught the attention of progressive heavyweights such as Hernan Cattaneo, Sasha and Nick Warren over the years. His track “Leeknath” released on Anjunadeep in 2012 was a summery yet deep hypnotic track that is still in our top 10. The Frenchman’s recent project, NOMOS RECORDINGS, sees a more ambient and electronica side to his music with his frequent “Nomos Session” mixes that can be related with day-to-day life.
