The formation of Technimatic was an inevitable one; together, the pair (formerly Technicolour and Komatic) have created a unique & unmistakable brand of liquid drum and bass - a brand that this summer is more than ready for. The sun may be kind of out a little bit, and us Brits take any chance we get to get the shorts, beers, smokes and tunes out to enjoy those few summery moments we’re blessed with once or twice a year. Having signed to Shogun Audio’s brilliant SGN:LTD offshoot, and carried on crafting those cool and charming beats in the studio, they’ve now lined-up what will be their debut EP for the label ‘Intersection’, due out on Monday July 8. Featuring four of the finest and freshest tracks you’ll hear this June, July or August, it’s a collection that’ll please the beach ladies as much as the hardcore locked-in-the-bassment producers.

Jack Stevens and David Kennett, better known as SpectraSoul, were performing and promoting DnB well before they became a duo in 2006. Their impressive discography includes releases with Metalheadz, Subtitles, and Exit Recordings. They were exclusively signed to Fricton’s label, Shogun Audio in 2009, with the release of their first full-length album “Delay No More” soon following in 2012. Known for their signature soulful sound and masterful production, SpectraSoul has helped breathe new life into Drum and Bass music.
