I've listened to both discs as well, and nothing stood out on first listen. I think he played it too safe. Would have been fun to have a disc full of trendy tunes instead of both being "timeless".

best part for me was first half of the "This Mix". some nice groovy house tunes. the "that mix" was pretty decent too i thought.

grab the tiefschwarz renaissance cd, otherwise known as "now that's what I call deep house 2013". Its completely soulless, but an enjoyable listen nonetheless

It's not bad by any means. It is solid, I'll agree. Just nothing really stood out on the first listen. It'll get played again for sure.

Disc one seems to be better overall. disc two really tapers off in the second half.....

I liked both CDs, though I think CD1 was my favorite.

It's not as good as my favorite outing of his (GU27), but it's a solid double CD.
