All fo nothing. The economy just looked at this and went pishh, similarly to the Fiscal Cliff, nothing greatly affected.

Yeah that's true but we are all hoping that this only a temporary thing,no longer than a week in its duration. Much to do with a stupid Texan who should also last a week, who now has no clue on his next step - it's has come to a point where probably he himself was shocked that this actually happened.
Question: I have not really looked into it and I think i would be more confused than anything as I wouldn't have a understanding for the current context for the American medical system (apart from depictions in Michael Moore documentaries).
Is Obamacare really worth all they hype it has generated - for the better or worse?
Economists say it will end up worse, public agrees it is for the better, I'd like to hear some opinions on this.

400,000 people that have been furloughed were ordered back to work this morning... that helps. My company is in big jeopardy of having massive delivery delays if the gov't doesn't shape up.Should I fuck you at that not until the ass, inject then tremendously hard bumschen and to the termination in the eyes yes?Comment

This guy is getting wagged along by the nuts in his party. The limit that both Dems and R's already agree on is the current sequester budget number which has already been mentioned as excessively low.
These Tea Party nutjobs just want to do anything to derail a big piece of the Obama agenda (that he got reelected for too). Boehner will blink when it comes to the debt ceiling though.Comment

Well duh. There is no argument that they are the problem. It isn't even a "both sides are to blame". You don't try and shut down random laws you like via defunding. You only do that if you don't give a shit about the process anymore and don't have the votes to repeal it the proper way.

If you believe every congressman reads every bill they pass you are sorely mistaken. Do you think your elected rep understands the technical intricacies of every single bill they pass for their constituents? They would be experts in everything if that were the case.
There was a lot of discourse FYI. Obama made it a major issue of his first campaign. He won. He also got re-elected.
It is a large bill because it is a major revamp affecting 50 states, therefore it will be complex. Laws affecting a major portion of the USA are complex things...thats the way it is.Comment
