This mix is just ridiculously awesome,...and did Henry say there would be a part 2? I nearly lost it when he dropped "running up that hill."

Some parts admittedly a bit too poppy for me, but put together with panache with some belters thrown in no doubt about it

With all respect to Henry (who i know personally), i think a lot of other djs put comparable or even better mixes out there. He just happen to be an awesome producer too.

Try the Bob Moses BM set, or plenty of others found here on MS. Any set from Pole Folder, Guy J, Ricky Ryan, Oliver Schories, Eelke Kleijn, if you like more poppy stuff, you can try both Jody's shows .. he's got an excellent taste. All these guys have history of consistent quality sets they put out. And i'm not mentioning german elite around poker flat, innervisions, etc, ..

Innervisions has been a really good source for me.

This mix , great music but the poppier stuff is spoiling it for me a little.

Thanks for the suggestions. Following all mentioned except Bob Moses or innerversions.

I think Henry takes chances with his mixes. Putting tracks together that have a variety of sounds. For me personally, it keeps me interested. If it all sounds like the same genre, to me those mixes kind of lack creativity. But everything thats artistic is subjective. Sasha can be "poppy" at times too. At any rate I enjoy hearing different members opinions on mixes, it's interesting for sure.
