    there goes classic soundcloud

    Garryx you were right!

    What's changing with my Dashboard?

In order to improve site-wide stability for the community, we will no longer be able to maintain all customizable features of the Classic Dashboard. With this change, we're hoping to provide a more reliable service for the SoundCloud platform.

Over the past month we have been experiencing backlogging and stability issues that caused transcoding backlogs site-wide (You can see a history here). We found that by removing customizable features on the Classic Dashboard we could provide a stronger and more reliable platform experience. What is changing?

    - When you first land on Classic Dashboard you will now see your incoming tracks. The ability to customize your Dashboard settings can no longer be supported. However, you can still move between the three tabs showing activity on your profile, incoming tracks, and exclusive tracks shared to you.

    - We are no longer offering customization of the Dashboard. The black 'X' will still appear on the right hand side of your incoming tracks, but any removals you make won't be saved.

    - The Classic Dashboard will not display which tracks the people that you follow Favorite. You can still view activity on your own tracks through the 'Your Activity' tab. You can learn more about how to find Favorites, along with other sounds enjoyed by people you follow here.

As it stands, we have not confirmed a date for when we plan to fully phase out Classic SoundCloud. However, we cannot maintain all Classic features before we make a full transition to the new site. As we focus on making the new site the best it can be, we welcome your feedback here. We listen to and appreciate all feedback, as your interest in SoundCloud is important to us.

It was fun while it lasted...
