I decided on 2 30 min floats vs 1 1hr float. It was pretty intense . I really have nothing to compare the experience with.

I was sober, however, the day before I did have two moles removed for biopsy at the skin doctor, and they gave me 2 shots to numb the 2 areas... I almost fainted because the blood rushed out of my head so fast and I was sitting up, not from the pain. The first float you are getting used to the weightlessness sensation and it is a little disorienting at first, and I think the medicine from the day prior didn't help. But yes to answer your question, i was sober and I recommend being sober. Unless you have floated in zero g before.

Do it man, it's some next level shizzle dizzle for rizzle. And I appreciate that your wife is open-minded enough, most women, including my wife and some friends of mine that I've told about it don't have any interest.
