have not, and will not support anything that fat fuck moore does.
you don't have to see the movie to know where moore is coming from with these things.
his lunacy is well documented, and i don't think painfully sitting through this "documentary" (and i use that term loosely) will change my mind about him or his "work."
i'm sure you're going to come back with this: "So by that logic, if someone told you that Guiness Beer tastes like crap, and you had never tried it, you'd think it's crap?"
no, that's beer we're talking about, the life blood of humanity...way different than overblown self important hollywood boob.

Didn't think that it would -- in fact, the movie is too over the top to persuade anyone of anything. That's not the point.
The point is that it is tough to intelligently critique something you haven't seen. So many right-wingers sit around pontificating about this film regurgitating shit they've read, which is more often than not drafted by enemies of Moore and friends of Bush. The irony is that it has made Moore a very wealthy man ... that, or the public's inherent mistrust of our man W.
Fact is, it's an entertaining flick, if nothing more, and it is fairly obvious where liberties have been taken for dramatic effect, particularly in the editing department.

Query to all of you railing on F 9/11, pointing out the inaccuracies, etc.:
How many of you have actually seen the movie?
I haven't, and won't just yet...I want to make sure I have facts first before I watch it. There's plenty of information about the truths, half truths, distortions of the truth, and outright lies that are in the movie that I think I may be able to know what is fact or fiction while I'm watching it. I refuse to watch it, taking it as "gospel" as so many people have. Again, I haven't seen it yet, but from what I hear, many scenes that had nothing to do with each other were spliced together to distort the facts....
... it is fairly obvious where liberties have been taken for dramatic effect, particularly in the editing department.
Just as an aside, scenes are definitely spliced together, but it is generally to get a laugh, not to be persuasive, and it is pretty obvious that they aren't connected.

Unfortunately not everyone may see it that way. For example, I saw a particular excerpt from the film where dead Iraqi children are shown, then right after, the film shows American soldiers high fiving each other as if they were happy that these kids were dead. According to the news program that showed the excerpt, one footage had nothing to do with the other...but sadly, someone who may not be able to actually think for themselves or not have the intelligence to do a little research would never know this and would likely be persuaded to the contrary. I have an aquaintance that swears by the film, which is troubling since I've always regarded him as pretty intelligent...he's not pro-Kerry, he's just anti-Bush...

No dead iraqi children are shown in the movie.
That is a blatant lie, stop trying to get your post count up by posting crap.
Or maybe you subscribe to Fox News or CNN??
The way I see it is that in the grand(er) scheme of things, Bush was the cowboy that rode into town firing his big guns at everyone. He also managed to secure his future generations a good life by setting up his oil firm in iraq, and paved the way for american agencies to survive the upcoming oil crash:
When the dust finally settles and the cowboy's exited stage left, in comes the businessman in the form of kerry.
he's going to fix everything up because he's an ex vietnam combat whatever, and he's going to set up deals and operations in iraq and afghanistan and rebuild it, with a whole lot of pre-selected US firms running a large portion of the oil industry in iraq.
BUT: the us government will *not* be able to invade any other country. iran and korea are just not up for grabs and haven't been bombed again and again. They have armies and are more than capable enough to either nuke key american locations or get up to other shenanigans.
think about it. America can't face an iraq that they themselves have bombed for the last 20 years or so, how on earth are they planning to invade iran or sudan now??
i see F911 as one side of the coin, definetly. but i also realize that you need a message that done up with the glitz and the "E: Entertainment Channel" style.
And it's because that's what redneck/yuppy america watches anyway.
America really needs a new presidential candidate.
Ahhhhh!!! I think my head is gonna pop. Too much politics. I think I'll go back to mixing now. My records don't lie and twist truth and whatnot. Records are my friends Can I vote my records for president?

They did show children, some dead, some alive. I remember a scene with a kid blown to pieces, it's ripped open so you can see the bones and muscles in it, the med's are trying to save the child's life.
Jeeezus Yao, thanks for being so graphic. Tanaka, I have alot of respect for you for not allowing yourself to be influenced by rank propaganda. Personally i wouldnt spend a penny for anything affiliated with Michael Moore. For liberals such as Toasty hes a cheap thrill. Moore misleads the nation with misinformation, copy and paste propaganda and anti patriotism. He attempts to undermind everything the Bush administration has achieved. Encouraging though is the fact that there is very very little support for Moore on MS, except for toasty who wants to stroke his gooseneck! Rock the delectables.

Now...toasty you say that Michael Moore is not intending to be persuasive...its to simply get a laugh. Im outraged. Im utterly disappointed. Just like your other post on another thread where in your prolific analysis of the election, the better candidate(in your opinion) goes to the best sales person. The one who says whats safe to the public careful not to go against the grain. Streamline politics. You attempted to give some clarity to that statement later but it was irrelevant.
And again here you say that Moore wasnt intending to be persuasive?? Moore is a schrill socialist that as you mentioned has made a shit load of money and profitted individually...all by sabotaging certain truths, distorting and embelishing facts, and completely misleading a majority of the public who, up until the time they saw the movie really had no opinion. But because of the movie they see a noble Bush administration as being the tyrant! And Toasty, you are saying that all this is to just simply get a laugh huh? The last two posts I've seen from you have been pathetic. Wise up.
