Firstly, A massive shoutout to the people who came down to Inland Knights for Buoyancy's 1st B-Day? bash, it was rockin'!!
Due to the unprecedented level of interest in all things west side, Buoyancy have decided to 'focal
on your yokel', and showcase talent from two of Bristols most endeavouring stables...
We are very proud to have the lean mean music making machine that is Way Out West's, Jody Wisternoff from Hope & Distinctive Recordings. Jody is more often touring far off places such as the US, Australia, Aisia and just about everywhere else in the world, rather than playing down Timbuk2.? Jody currently visits the US monthly to play places such as the notorious Viper Room in Los Angeles, San Francisco's Spundae, Buzz Club in Washington, D.C., Miami's Space and Hyperia in Houston.? He has also recently returned from a Way out West Live tour of the Far East.? So catch a rare glimpse of Jody in his natural habitat on 19th March where he will be playing his usual captivating selection of electronic substance as well as showcasing the newest Way out West goodies. Expect a slammin' original slant on all things electronic wildstyle in the main room.
Out back we have the amazing Leisure Recordings also hailing from our fair Bristolia. Leisure are just about to release their highly anticipated second EP by Mr Benn. Their 1st release by DJ Hoop made it onto the latest Nextmen compilation and won support from Quantic, Boca 45, Jon Kennedy, Stereo MC's, Beat Junkies, and Martin Brew. They have also just had a mix on Ninja Tune's Solid Steel internet radio station.
