good theory. If it were true I might applaud it for the simple fact that we took the fight to them. Why let another 3000 Americans die before attacking? The men and women who have died over there would have died there anyway if we had been attacked again. The war will rage on, the only decision to make is whether we fight it on our streets or theirs.
Did any of you hear what President V. Putin said? He said that shortly after 9/11, the russian equivalent to the CIA obtained substansial credible intelligence that Iraq was planning a widespread terror campaign against the USA on American soil and passed that on to the CIA. Although everyone claims thats not the reason we bombed the fuckers, I'm sure it weighed heavily on everyones mind, since we had already been attacked.
