Read it on the news yesterday very sad news indeed
The CD he did with Di Meola and McLaughlin is one of my favorite music CDs of any gender. We lost one of the best guitarists this world has ever seen.
I'll pay tribute to him today and blast the above mention CD on my home speakers.Quiero brincar al agua para caer al cielo -

This release was mastered direct from vinyl at the request of the DJ and as such features natural sound characteristics of this medium such as record surface noise.Comment

yeah, i saw his flamenco band a few years back, it was incredible. it was in an old theater and the audience were all suited up, I thought it was going to be a chill classical-ish show. a few tunes in, people are standing up, cheering in spanish, old ladies dancing, really cool. so much joy comes out of his music.Comment

I've heard some recordings here and there but not a imminent follower. An early age to go as well. RIP.
People like him aren't just musicians, they're masters of their domain. Just does not come over night.
