    04. Maceo Plex - Conjure Drama [Ellum Audio | ELL018]

The unstoppable Maceo Plex gets set to release the heavy duty 'Conjure One' EP on his own Ellum Audio imprint. First up 'Conjure Drama' rumbles and grumbles in the lower end with blissful yet dark synths flowing across the top and an infectious bass-line to lead the way. Next up 'Conjure Bass' drives with powerful percussions and deep dark pads and trippy, warbling keys. Following in line with the EP 'Conjure Balearia' is an absolute beast that will take over the room at peak time with a big rolling bass-line, epic builds and drops and plenty of FX to stimulate those senses on the dance-floor. This is Maceo Plex at his best so be sure not to miss it!

Still reigning as one of the most commendable figures, Maceo Plex is on a pursuit to breathe feeling and funk into dance music. Releasing on labels such as Crosstown Rebels, No.19 Music and of course his own Ellum Audio.

Most would have been satisfied with releasing on such acclaimed labels but Maceo Plex has gone from strength to strength with Ellum Audio and soon to be hosting his very own SideXSide Ellum Showcase in London later this month, supported by the up and coming Garden of Gods and K.I.F.F.

This highly anticipated EP is sure to keep Maceo Plex firmly within the elite of the dance music world. Setting standards high for future releases from himself and the Ellum Audio protégés.

    05. Hanssen - Azur (Lusine Remix) (Programme EP) [Pleasure Boat Records | PBR026]

We_ve long been fans of Hanssen_s visions of electronic music, from his collaborative work with Pezzner in the infamous slap-house duo Jacob London to his latest solo releases which run the gamut from synth-pop to two-step to apocalyptic house music all while exercising extreme restraint and care to all he touches.

However, when we first heard the Programme EP it felt like a brave, new frontier was in his sights. Programme features a delicate but engulfing brand of kosmische-house music, suitable for some dancefloors but more suitable for stargazing. If you really enjoy it, perhaps you should also check out Hanssen_s stunning remix of Lusine_s new single Another Tomorrow, out on Ghostly International now.

Features a hearty remix by Lusine and enough beauty for repeated full-bathe brain-rinses.

    06. BOg - Everything We Lost (Eric Volta's Doldinger Revenge Mix) [Akbal Music | akbal music_vinyl01]

Hailing from Playa del Carmen, Mexico- Akbal Music is a label that has proven to be a constant provider of quality underground music with over 86 releases in digital format. For this episode we are very exited to present you our 1st ever vinyl release.

To make an impact with this first wax cut we have selected BOg from Romania artist that has signed amazing tunes for Akbal Music and also with Crosstown Rebels. This will be his first solo EP for us proving his talent with this very emotional and epic release.

To make it even more interesting we give a warm welcome to two juggernauts of the scene to remix the record and do the first appearance for the label. First of is Mr. Eric Volta(No.19-Visionquest) taking us through a mental and dramatic adventure with his take of "Everything We Lost". Patlac (LiebeDetail-Soulfooled) on the other hand on his remix of "Medina" takes a more driving direction but always keeping the feeling and groove of the original and converting it into a great dance floor bomb.

This record represents what we´ve accomplished as a record label and sets the path for our future releases thank you very much for your support we hope you love it as much as we do!

    Release Date: 30.03.2014

    07. Eddie Richards - Soul Is Life (Re-Mastered Original Mix) [Storm Recordings | STORM 1203]

After a 10 year hiatus, UK ‘godfather of house’ Eddie Richards has relaunched his sought-after Storm imprint. This is the first release of an ongoing series featuring his own original remastered tracks accompanied by brand new remixes from some of the most talented names in contemporary club music.

    Vinyl Release date 03 March
    Digital release mid April

    08. Abe Duque - Paranormal Dejavu (Rules For The Modern DJ LP) [Abe Duque Records | ADR3004CD]

It's understandable that many artists in techno today, once they reach a certain level of recognition and appreciation, choose to rest on their past glories. In the relatively short time that techno and house have redefined the underground musical landscape, it's often the case that the creative sweet spot barely outlasts the first few releases. Not so Abe Duque, whose service to the cause of quality underground techno now spans three decades. 20 years after his first release, this latest long player on his own Abe Duque Recordings typifies his refreshing approach to finely crafted, darkly humorous and forward-thinking dance music.

    09. Undo & Ryan Davis - Lura (Floating EP) [Beachcoma Recordings | BEACH021]

Our next Beachcoma release comes from our good friends- Undo & Ryan Davis. Undo operates Factor City, which is based in beautiful Barcelona. It is where he & Ryan Davis (the famed Traum hit maker) got together to produced this magnificent music. We are thrilled to have this released on our label.

Established artists on their own right, Undo & Ryan Davis team up to combine their signature sounds to produce this appropriately entitled 2 tracker "Floating". As strong winds and rolling waves approach Barcelona's sandy beach shore, the floating device on which this music rests upon, will keep its course. Never to drowned or slip off either sides but to come direct to your rescue.

Yet another fine record & we Beach you to it!

    Released by: Beachcoma Recordings
    Release/catalogue number: Beachcoma 021
    Release date: Mar 18, 2013

Re: Transitions 498 ● John Digweed with a guest mix by Sasha Carassi

'Conjure Drama' is a beast of a track .. John's had it in his sets for a while and Sasha played it last weekend too.

"The harrowing melodic stamina meets supple rhythmic undertones head first for 'Conjure Drama' – a track bringing somewhat cinematic properties to his gritty house sound." [Dancing Astronaut]

Deep house auteur Maceo Plex will return to his own Ellum Audio label with a new EP next month. The Dallas, Texas native (who now resides in Barcelona) will offer three "heavy duty" tunes marked by "blissful yet dark synths," "powerful percussion," and "plenty of FX to stimulate senses on the dancefloor" on Conjure One—which, considering its title, may end up being part of a larger series.
