For reduced guestlist before midnight email gregor@bringthebeats.com.
It's definitely always safest to get tickets first, so if you do, email me for line-by pass.

Re: FREEDOM
I'm really thinking about going to this. But low on funds, so I'm contemplating if I should drive from NYC. Decisions, decisions...... :?Comment

Re: FREEDOM
hey guys,
i'm about to get in the car right now for this sweet event. i've never heard nic play live so i'm super excited about that. hopefully deep dish will stick to some nice deep plush house and funk instead of trying to drop hip hop tunes. i'll be back tomorrow with further review as long as i can remember. i hope everyone has an awesome time tonight. be safe...

Re: FREEDOM
Well, let me start off by saying that Toronto is a beautiful city. It was alot bigger than I thought. Definitely will make it back up there again in the future. As for the Guvernment party, that venue is big. Three rooms and alot of damn people. The main room with Deep Dish was slammed. And as jennypie said "so many drugged up morons who weren't there for the music walking around like zombies and taking up space on the dancefloor." Not a pretty sight. Every place has its freaks. There was still some people there for Deep Dish and I did meet a few cool individuals. Even though the crowd was annoying for a bit, it finally opened up a bit by 4. But honestly, I didn't care because this was absolutely the 2nd best set I've heard from Deep Dish. Being WMC 2005 is first for me b/c incorporating a saxophone player brought the night and music to a whole new level. But I know there will be nights in the future that may top my list.
Nic Fanciulli was himself, so he set it up nicely for Deep Dish. Sharam came on @ 2:30 and didn't wasted any time by dropping some hard basslines. Ali came on @ around 5:00 and that was it. My reaction to his set was HOLY SHITTTT!!! Ali played like an animal, the best I've seen him play. The man was relentless and didn't let up. Sharam came back on @ around 7:30 and started slowing it up a bit, but just right. Then Ali played for the last hour and the party ended @ 9:30. Overall, a great Deep Dish experience. I wish all of you were there to experience the music. Jennypie, it was great meeting you. Too bad you couldn't stay longer. I hope you a great time @ Danny T. Hopefully we'll see each other again. As for a tracklist for the night, here are the songs I made out:
Deep Dish-Say Hello(Unknown Remix)
David Guetta-The World is Mine(Deep Dish Remix)
Money for Nothing vs Flashdance
Fleetwood Mac-Dreams
Willy San Juan vs Mochico - Push My Bass (Eddie Amador Remix)
D.O.N.S. feat. Technotronic- Pump Up The Jam - Gian's Crowd Is Jumpin Mix
Lee Coombs feat. Katherine Ellis- Shiver
Sultan & Tommyboy- You Made Me Feel Extacy
Deep Dish-Say Yeah
Geht's Noch - (with Roman Flugel)
Roman Lieske- The Bass Drive
....and there was a whole bunch of new goodies I haven't heard before. There is one track with woman vocals with a sweet guitar riff. I have a feeling it could be big. Musically, you couldn't have asked for more.
