What a movie this was, I don't know if I was in a weird mood or what but I absolutely loved this movie. Eric Bana, Mark Wahlberg, Taylor Kitsch (the guy from Battleship), Ben Foster and Ali Suliman (from The Kingdom). Based on a true, the movie depicts a series of incredible tiny misfortunes that leads to a loss of of U.S. Marines on a scout mission to capture a high-value Taliban target.
Granted Hollywood has pushed the envelope in delivering pain to the Marines at an unacceptable level but the movie just plays out so well and ends with photos and updates post the 2005 event.
I highly recommend it and give it a solid 7.5/10
