    I can't believe what a genius (albeit illegal) idea this is.

    A torrent based Netflix alternative that was created by Brazillian (iirc) hackers to be able to play movies that took forever to be released in their native countries. You essentially install the application, launch it, look for a movie you wanna watch and hit play. The program buffers it and then starts playing it (depending on your network connection)

    Both above programs have Android Apps but the good thing about Flixtor's app is that it will let you download the movie too.

    There is apparently a Russian program called http://zona.ru/ that supposedly has much much more to offer but I have not got that to work. The 25 MB installer does nothing, hope I didn't rootkit myself

    EDIT: I just saw they released a new version yesterday, maybe they got their installer package fixed, will try it later today and update.

      Oh yeah tried two versions of Popcorn, works pretty well. I think they are using EZTV torrents. I could see a directory of older TV shows but when I searched something like Orphan Black it didn't return a hit, so I'm not sure what is the selection criteria that makes a TV show available on Popcorn.

          Yea Popcorn sucks for TV Shows, Flixtor is a lot better.

                  I tried Zona, it needs a fresh install of the latest version of Java and then it runs. It's TV show search results weren't as good as Flixtor. Moreover, being Russian, everything is in Ruski language, even the search results. Most of the flix I could only make out because of the posters.

                  Flixtor is the way to go.

                      Tried Flixtor, seems to be better for TV, and loads up a show faster than Popcorn.

                      I wonder why the difference though. Curious what the criteria is for a TV show to make it into each app.
