so last night i was at the hot spot for tuesday night (pure) my man faarsheed is playing some sick shit...i go up to him : so, when am i up? ...he's like you wanna play ?...can i?...... give me 15 min... man i tore it up for 45 min!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wooooohoooooooooo it was awesome... i trainwrecked the fuck out of the first mix though , hey i was nervous!!! ... it was awesome people were jumpin !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it was great....the manager came up to me and told me i was in the wrong profession and that i should be spinning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! woot woot !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it was fucking great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i remember the first time i played out like it was yesterday. i was nervous as fuck...my first gig ever was to a PACKED club, and i wasnt opener either (not necessarily the brightest idea). i came on after the first guy warmed up the crowd, hands sweaty, heart pounding like it was gonna jump out of my chest. after a few mixes it was like i was back in the bedroom and the night went great. other than a couple galloped beats, i played well, and i've been hooked since. now i play out about 8 hours a week between a couple venues. nothing beats a good 4 hour set.
