Release Notes:
01. Sasha Carassi - Tale of Memories (Underground Sound of Ibiza) [Bedrock Records | Bedibizacd1]
05. Ian O'Donovan - Atoll (Underground Sound of Ibiza) [Bedrock Records | Bedibizacd1]
After the highly successful Miami releases and with all three CD's of the series completely selling out, Bedrock are extremely proud to present their first ever Underground Sound of Ibiza album release.
The double CD features a poolside/daytime vibe on one disc full of laid back balearic beats perfect for those summer days featuring exclusive new music from the likes of Pig&Dan, Charlie May and King Unique alongside some special new versions and takes on some of our recent releases from The Japanese Popstars, Jimmy Van M and Oniris and of course the ambient version of Jemmy's "Waterloo Blues" which caused a huge stir when it was broadcast from the Transitions 500 Miami boat party.
The second disc takes a more uptempo clubbier / night time journey and takes in 10 exclusive new tracks from the likes of Marco Bailey, Sasha Carassi, Misstress Barbara and Marc Marzenit amongst others, there is also a bonus remix of the classic Guy J single 'Lamur' which has been remixed by Sebastien Léger.
"We're really happy with how this album came together and I'm very proud of the downtempo disc as I think musically it's one of the best we've done so far on the label" [John Digweed]
2xCD / Digital
Released July 7th 2014
02. Ramon Tapia & Stavroz - Havana [Bedrock Records | Beddigi151]
Ramon Tapia & Stavroz collaborate to bring us their new single 'Havana' - a delectable deep and organic house track that harnesses shakers, maracas, elegant trumpets and deft, gentle guitars; plus a warm and subtle synth that murmurs pleasingly in the background. Both a beautifully crafted piece of music and devastatingly effective club record.
03. Daniel Avery - Knowing We'll Be Here [Phantasy Sound | PH36]
Phantasy release Knowing We’ll Be Here, the dream-like closing track from Daniel Avery's hugely acclaimed Drone Logic album backed with two big remixes. First up, KiNK applies his ever-masterful touch to the track in hand for a wholly euphoric house embrace whilst label boss Erol Alkan resurrects Beyond The Wizard's Sleeve, his neu-pysche collaboration with Richard Norris, to push New Energy fully into the realm of the third mind with a very special re-animation.
Release Date: 9 June 2014
04. Ian Pooley - Chord Memory 2014 [Rejected | REJ034]
Ian Pooley stormed the techno scene back in 1996 when his classic Chord Memory was first released on Force Inc. This powerful track left both Joris Voorn and Edwin Oosterwal awe inspired and they are proud to finally re-release it on their label Rejected.
Especially for this release Ian created a stellar new mix next to the re-mastered original. And renowned producer Reggy Van Oers' remix goes even further in this dynamic advance. A classic, revamped tune that will send every fist in the air, this EP package demands attention as it is the evolution of the successful original and is the epitome of good music.
Laurent Garnier - 'Great new version as well as the remix - This was a BIIIIG track for me and glad to have new mixes. Definite support from me.'

[Stamp The Wax]
We’ve recently been dropping a few hints about fledgeling London/Leeds label Bade Records and now we can finally give you something more comprehensive. Yesterday marked the release of their debut EP from Berlin newcomer Ben Böhmer and we’re delighted to bring you the full stream of the lead track. Much like the productions of other techno contemporaries Francesco Tristano and Recondite, Böhmer’s classical music upbringing has resulted in an EP full of atmospheric intricacies. The saxophone flurry on Sprich is a particular highlight of ours and makes for a strong lead tread track. There’s a risk that a UK label specialising in a very Berlin sound could fall foul as a cheap knock-off. With Black Pattern though, Bade have an accomplished and focussed first release, which has gained support as high up as Alexis Raphael and Maya Jane Coles. With a strong springboard for future exploits, they’ve done the easy bit; now for that all-important follow-up!
Black Pattern EP is out now and available exclusively from Beatport. Böhmer’s next UK appearance will be a live set at Front To Back presents One Day for the Bade contingent. They’ll be part of a hefty evening programme that also features Sven Weisemann, Konstantin Sibold and Marcus Worgull.
[The Techo Kittens]
New imprint Bade Records had us from the words ‘emotive and melodic’. The label, based between London and Leeds, will be showcasing house and techno that hits you thump in the heart and gets you dancing (of course) too. The first release comes from German producer Ben Böhmer. ‘Sprich’ opens with a treacly moody sax creating a dark tense uber-sensual atmosphere (ooh er). Totally delish. ‘Black Pattern’ is warm and inviting with that dark atmosphere still present. Bade we can’t wait to hear more!
08. Etai Tarazi - Ready Or Not [Octopus Records | OCT61]
Holding it down tight for the new wave of USA Techno recruits invading the Euro scene.Etai is a perfect example of the New York underground vibe raised on heavy beats and hypnotic grooves.A relentless metropolitan warehouse attitude and in his own words,¨being a distinct product of east meets west¨ gives his music a wide ranging melting pot style heard here on this 3 handpicked rockets.

09. Dusty Kid - Generator 3000 [Promo]
DUSTY KID (aka Paolo Alberto Lodde) was born in the first half of the decade of the 80’s. As a new 'infant prodigy' he immediately showed his natural attitude for the variegated “music world”. At 10, after just one year of private lessons of the basic notions of piano and violin, he was admitted directly to the 6° year of the piano course in the conservatory of his native city. Following the academic experience, his tasks moved gradually from the austere classical world to the electronic system, free from binds and traditional old-fashioned diktats.
DUSTY KID started to manipulate synthesizers, samplers and sequencers, and he realised that one passion was growing and growing: the ardor for arranging and producing his own compositions. He released his first single “I Found A Reason” at 19 on the English label Lowered Recordings, and then he produced various singles and remixes for Mutiny UK and Trinity Hi-Fi before creating the project Duoteque with DJ Andrea Ferlin and EPs on Boxer Recordings picked up by Richie Hawtin, Tiefschwarz, Ricardo Villalobos, Domenic Eulberg, Sven Vath and Magda. After the Duoteque experience Paolo decides to take his own way and to release his own productions as DUSTY KID. [Boxer Recordings - BPitchControl - Systematic-SouternFried]
10. Boom Merchant - Green Symphony [Tribal Pulse | TRIP005]
At the start of the year we promised you recordings that are beautiful, engaging and unique. With our fifth EP we're bringing you some music that we feel fit really hits the mark. Boom Merchant returns with Stars/Green Symphony, a 2-track EP with both wax and digital copies available in June.
'Stars' kicks off with relentless and ever-evolving percussion, as snares, congas and woodblocks cascade over a powerful kick drum before gentle pads, synth stabs and lush hang drum melodies take the listener on a relaxed but mesmerizing journey that builds and builds before dropping back into a relentless bass-driven groove.
'Green Symphony' again benefits from Boom Merchant's unique percussion programming. Here he builds a solid, funk-driven groove that progresses through bulky bass and horn sounds before an otherworldly symphony eases into the mix...
We hope these tracks capture your imagination as much as they have ours.
