if i get less than about 5-6 hrs, i am an f'in zombie no matter how much coffe i drink & am good for nothing the next day. not to mention i turn to a total a-hole.
during my last week of school, all the work i did I woudl have to say that i got minimal hours of sleep, and maybe 4 hours a couple nights, and staying up all night others, it was nuts.
it really varies i guess, sometimes i can sleep fine, but if i have work to do i stay up until its finished..which is not always the best thing, because i tihnk i do better work when i am well rested. But if it has to get done then..so be it.
i need 8 to function, but because of my late night schedule my sleeping patern is all fucked...i 'll get home around 6 am crash at about 7 wake up at about 10 and then be sleepy as fuck when its time to go into work.... sometimes i get a nap in before work, but normally i roll into work looking like a racoon... so 3 hours tops
I'm trying to move my rythm a bit...used to hit the bed at 4 or 5 am, but i noticed my body is not having it anymore, so am now trying to get to bed before 2 and get up @ 10 or so. I succeeded a few times already! And...when I did, I was a hell of a lot more productive too....
Think im going to take 2 Tyneol PM's and sleep 12 hours tonight.
i heard those work pretty good .... i take malatonin pills, which are over the counter, they are supposed to regulate sleeping paterns...theyre not doing a very good job
6-8 depending on if it's a gym night or not because I end up being really wound up after the gym and on those nights I only get about 6-6.5 hours. Weekends though...8-9 no doubt!!!

Damn, I was going to start taking them tonight. Laying in bed for 2-3 hours before falling asleep is getting pretty damn old.
I hope they can provide some level of help cause this shit is getting out of control.
Doxylamine or Diphenhydramine (Sominex).
Shit like that'll put you in la-la land within a half-hour.
Try soft music as well; pure ambience can do the trick if you "let it" permeate by deep thinking.
