I ponder if this will be the trigger to finally discipline Russia? By what means, is beyond me. This is an absolute tragedy, I cannot imagine the family and friends of the passengers on board, where this intrigues me;

I read they targeted the 100 AIDS researchers on board.

Could you please provide a link of where you had read this. That line to me read as if the instigator of this missile attack deliberately wanted to take down AIDS specialists?

Sorry, I can't. I think the article was recanted. I read it on my FB first thing in the morning (& I only follow 3 news medias on FB) and can't find it. It said that beforehand there was a twitter discussion about the upcoming AIDS conference and the instigators wrote "We'll get them all then." and I read some of the comments people made about that.

Cool they follow these idiot's twitter accounts and they might have read it, but if it was later deleted and no one got a screen shot, it's just hearsay. I swear I read that though and it was not written with any speculation.

My personal opinion is that it was not random as they are making it now seem with the latest released audio recordings. I believe it was deliberate and they had general knowledge women, children, and the AIDS researchers were on board.

Premeditated mass murder, the missile was aimed and fired on people, albeit a war zone. Why were they flying in that zone I haven't read anyone answer? It was the only way to get there? That the flight included AIDS researchers makes it even more tragic/horrific if that's even possible.

Disclaimer: Just my opinion, I have no proof and could certainly be wrong. I'm just saying I have my doubts about how the story is unfolding in the media (which I think it's just a bit of 'terrorist CYA'):

dead babies and blown up/missing airplanes are sad, but I'm far more bothered by the crazy shit that gets covered by Glenn Greenwald and the increasingly fucked up stuff that comes out of the docs from Snowden.
