        Release Notes:

        01. Andy Arias feat Janis - Vorash Musique [unreleased]

Andy Arias was born in La Pampa / Argentina and has been involved with electronic music since early 2000. With the support of artists as Hernán Cattáneo, John Digweed, Sasha, Laurent Garnier, Luis Junior and Eelke Klejin his productions can be recognised by the energetic low frequence groove mixed with oniric melodies.

        02. Kosmas - Arpage [Inside Out Records | Promo]

Limited release information. Kosmas is the new slimmed down moniker for Kosmas Epsilon [Sudbeat, Get Physical, Akbal Music].

        03. Kassey Voorn - Before You Fall feat. Amber Long (Trinkets Compilation) [Tulipa Recordings | TULIPA080]

Within the shaded gardens Kassey Voorn, Amber Long, Matthias Korr, Child, Queemose, Miinuetto, and Pete Mccarthey add their Trinkets to the basket. This small collection of shimmery treasures consists of musical ornaments that will be relished by Tulipa onlookers. Before You Fall, Friends, Naughty Boy, Modonovo, and Hallucinate were all conceived within a melodic womb and have grown exponentially in the Tulipa Recordings homestead. All five songs are exquisite.

Beautiful evenings on the morphing pier. Pearl-like clouds expand across the sky. The vermin. Crazy for the love that sank into the lake. Casting a spell on desert times. Please do not go there. Shining brightly in the mad realm. The capacity for empathy. Dreams scattered on the lawn. Lazy days liquify and are forgotten. She longed for a moment that was fleeting. Inspect the result and forfeit the pleasure. Squeeze into something breathtaking. Options for the late night.

        Released by: Tulipa Recordings
        Release/catalogue number: TULIPA080
        Release date: 14 July 2014

        04. Hasan Mogol - Afrawald (Spectrophobia EP) [Tenampa Recordings | TENA035]
        05. Hasan Mogol - Spectrophobia [Tenampa Recordings | TENA035]

We welcome back Hasan Mogol, who released music on Tenampa back in 2012, and more recently launched his own record label 'Aequivalenz'. This time the German born, delivers a two track EP, deep & hypnotic, perfect for very late nights. Early support comes from Hernan Cattaneo, Siopis, Pavel Petrov and Blond:ish who included 'Spectrophobia' on their forthcoming Flying Circus compilation coming out soon. An excellent EP that is destined to do some real damage on the dance floor.

        Release Date: 07 July 2014

        06. Roots Panorama - Mars (Deetron Panorama Version) [Character | CHA01]

Deetron is getting ready to launch his own label, Character.

The Swiss purveyor of soulful techno and house is already known for his longstanding connection with Belgium's Music Man Records, for which he's produced two albums and more than a dozen other singles and EPs. In recent years he's also appeared on the likes of Aus Music and Crosstown Rebels, and last month, his contribution to the fabric mix series saw release. His next endeavor, Character, "will be a platform for recordings beyond the confines of one particular genre," according to a press release.

The label's first record is Mars, a two-tracker from Deetron's Roots Panorama collaboration with fellow countryman Ripperton. Mars looks to have the duo sticking to a process used for their 2011 release Threee on Versatile: after jamming together in the studio, the two artists individually went to work with the recording of the session to form their own versions. The press release describes Deetron opting for a "melodic and bright" interpretation and Ripperton getting "deeper" and "darker" with his effort.

        Forthcoming on Character - September 1st, 2014

        07. Luciaen - The Great Amael (Origins EP) [Basaec | BASAEC002]

Luciaen, AKA Lucien Nicolet, presents the second chapter in his Basaec series, with Origins. The new label from the Cadenza Records boss looks back to the roots of his production career, whilst presenting a whole fully futuristic take on electronic dance music.

'Origins (Wild Origins)' leads release #2, a colossal twelve minute piece of neo-classical electronics. Waves of arpeggio synth dominate the beat-less track, its mighty stabs and light percussion propelling the track along at great speed and urgency. The heads will no doubt hear inspirations from Detroit techno in here, but you cant put this piece in any genre box, rather its a huge musical showcase from one of dance musics most enigmatic figures.

'The Great Amael' finds Luciaen in more familiar territory, a lo-fi bubbling groove and dusted Hammond organs hustle along whilst the live percussions shine through. Energetic and infectious, the tone softens with the oceanic pads that provide its classic melody and threatens to envelope the listener in a wall of beautiful sound. A slightly restrained and lighter version of Origins (Mix One) is featured on the digital release, losing none of its magical touch and impact.

        Release Date: 23 June 2014

        08. Ozgur Ozkan - We Don’t Need A Miracle (Nikko.Z Remix) [System Recordings | SYST2731]

Ozgur Ozkan is a producer from Istanbul, Turkey that has released an album on Balkan Connection South America and had further tracks on the likes of Mistique Music, 3rd Avenue, Storyteller Records and Reelaux Digital.

        Release Date: 25 August 2014

        09. Chaim - Remember When (Underwater EP) [Visionquest | VQ044]

Like stepping into a warm electronic sound bath, Chaim’s latest release for Visionquest ripples with pulsing sonic textures and propels forward at a softly galvanic pace as the slowly emerging melody takes hold in ‘Underwater’. B side ‘Remember When’ is just as compelling - a slightly tougher edge and darkly euphoric atmosphere injected with sporadic chimes, disembodied voices and dramatic synth stabs. This is a truly hypnotising release.

Now being based in the hub of electronic talent that is Berlin, Chaim is still a true stand out artist in today's fast paced digital world. After a wave of stunning releases on labels such as Supplement Facts, Cocoon and MBF, for a time Chaim worked exclusively with the Berlin based BPitch Control imprint. His acclaimed debut album 'Alive' released spring 2011 on the label and this season his monster Ibiza anthem ‘Blue Shadow’ (on Rumors), has proven his powerful, individual productions to be some of the highest quality club tracks around.

Fusing solid bass heavy grooves, clearly inspired by his love for those classic jacking Chicago jams, hypnotic synth hooks, trademark affected percussion, live instrumentation and vocal snippets, Chaim's unique and organic sound always makes an impact. Underpinned by top-class studio knowhow, his crisp, forward thinking records are a joy to drop in front of even the biggest crowds.

A heavy DJ touring schedule has seen the enigmatic Israeli grace the DJ booths of Fabric and Panorama Bar to name a few, and his work with the BPitch crew has highlighted him as an exciting figure amongst the current electronic scene. Visionquest is proud to welcome Chaim to the fold.

        Catalogue Nr: VQ044
